RE: First things first ...

in #introduction7 years ago

okidoki ツ stil doing a lot of reading here to figure out how things work and there are a few things already that are not really amusing to discover ... i.E. pretty comlicated and confusing interface/website to use and keeping track of things here, no notifications, bandwidth dropping for doing almost nothing ... hmm ...

Yes, it can be a bit daunting at first. There's a few good websites that are built on top of the Steemit blockchain, have a look at SteemNow.com and put your Username into the box where it says Settings.

This will load your Steemit details that are associated with your username. You will see the UpVotes and Daily Rewards that you get. Also the Curation awards that you get for sharing others posts, based on the previous seven days and the amount according to the post value and other details like your user account value.
You will understand when you look into it. My understanding is still basic, but as long as you are posting and receiving UpVotes and Sharing others content that you enjoyed, it will start making sense.

The site is run by @penguinpablo who does a great job of collating info about Steem, Steemit and other cryptocurrencies, look at the very bottom of the page and you can click the CoinMarkets.today website. This will give you an idea of where cryptos are in the top 50 coins/tokens.
Pablo also gives us a lot of info about what's happening daily in the crypto world and especially Steem.
The top of the page links to his page here on Steemit.

Like on Tsū, you are allocated a score according to how much value you produce here, Original Content is always the best! You know that from Tsū. 😎
Click on different items on SteemNow to see how they relate to your content.

There's another good site called Steemd.com which really goes into deep info about your account.
The blockchain is transparent, so all data related to your account is visible and available to look at.
You can see others info almost as much as your own, except for private things like passwords etc.

@woodywood143 knows much more than me and will probably be better to ask him questions that I don't know.
Like the best way to find others who you might want to share content from, big earning users and when to share.
He always helps me!
I hope that helps a bit.

steemnow and coinmarkets are interesting stats sites 👍🏼 btw. just read a warning from penguinpablo that steemitrewards.com seems to be a phishing site! Do you know sola.ai?

and i found an iOS app for notifications ... Steemify from the @blockbrothers 😎

Sola is like Instagram and it's monetised like Steemit.
A few of us that I know on there too. Are you on there too?
The site is based on the Etherium blockchain. They used to be known as Plaq. Eastern European team mostly I believe.

Yep, registered yesterday ... got it from @cloudexplorer ... another tsu veteran ツ and hey ... busy.org is by far the best interface i could find by now for the steemit blockchain ... it has pretty much everything you need, working notifications, no login stress across multiple browser windows and it looks pretty good!

Yes, #OriginalContent is king, i know for sure ツ i'll check out steemnow ... i know steemd already. There are a few other tools i found like steamitboard.com, busy.org, steemstats.com, steemtools.com, steemworld.org, etc. ... Hey thanx for the exhaustive advice ツ

No problem, glad to try and help. 😎
Just noticed you on Sola! Good deal, see ya there too mate!
Keep your eyes peeled for more image sites popping up in the coming months, they will be monietised with either Steem or Ether, places like Appics and dPixify are gonna get the light.

read about appics already, yeah this decentralized blockchain thing seems to be the next big thing!
