Ionomy; CMC; Witness Votes

Ionomy is pretty cool.

Made an account and set up 2FA.
Easy peasy.

It's really nice that they show the coins you've deposited before they've fully been confirmed. This way there is no waiting around wondering if you did it right.

I'm still in the process of testing withdrawals.

Looks like they require 2FA on top of email confirmation. Although the Email confirmation doesn't seem to show which account you're sending to, just how much with a confirmation button. Seems a bit odd.

Currently my withdraws aren't going through...
Guess I'll give it some time.

Still being listed at #234 on CMC

Yep, I'm being told certain coins on CMC get bumped to the third page automatically for certain reasons. In this case I was told Hive has been currently banished there because we aren't being listed on three centralized exchanges.

How hilariously ironic is that?

Can't get listed because we aren't centralized enough :D
To be fair decentralized exchanges could be exploited in this way so it makes sense.
Still though. Come on now.

I've removed all my witness votes. Due to the attack we've somewhat centralized the chain in our zealous attempt to prevent this fork. The top 30 witnesses have been blinding upvoted, and it shows. I will only be voting witnesses who are less than the top 20 for a while and encourage others to do the same.

Currently my only votes are for

These are the only names I recognized in the top 21-100.

Conclusion

Other than that seems pretty nice.
No KYC, simple interface.Why isn't @ionomy processing my 1 coin withdrawals? :D

The CMC saga is starting to look suspicious :D

Revisiting witness votes is a good thing :-) I can at least out of the top 20 recommend @stoodkev for his work on Keychain and @quochuy for his work on 'condenser' (which he used to do for steemit.com when they finally realised the power of community input, but now works on hive.blog).

Cheers :-)

REALLY suspicious.

Not really, they've long applied rather strict rules.

Whether certain coins "get automatically bumped", I don't know. I guess I just never happen to follow those coins. But it surely makes for a good narrative in echo chambers.

Sorry for the late reply, but I really appreciate the support for my witness. Thank you. I've been pleasantly surprised by the community support for newer witnesses. It really means a lot to me to have your support.

I personally haven't used Ionomy yet, but I do see they replied further down the comments section, while I'm sure the rest ignore their Hive accounts, so I'm impressed.

Thank you very much,
~ CA

@ionomy has been good, until today. I've been waiting for a withdrawal for about three hours, maybe more. Normally it took 5 minutes, if that. And that was only with email confirmation. I'll give them a couple more hours, then I'll start losing my mind.

ah so it's not just me

Just checked their wallet. Nothing has left for about 9 hours. Maybe someone's drunk?

thats what she said

Thank you for the suggestion about adding the receiving address in the confirmation email. The developers are actively integrating this suggestion. You'll see it soon.

[EDIT: This feature has been implemented. All withdrawal confirmation emails now include the destination address.]

Yes, there was an error in the withdrawal process. All withdrawals should be processed. Sorry for the delay. The developers are building a new withdrawal system that should prevent this kind of problem in the future.

If you have any other questions, please complete the support form or contact [email protected] at any time.

Appreciate your service very much. I've been telling others about you since I began using you weeks ago. I've used you for my weekly powerdowns as well as I sent my Litecoin through you to convert to Hive. Usually done within minutes. I've asked CoinGecko to add you to their Hive page, as I suspect there is a lot of velocity for Hive being missed since so many who track this still aren't acknowledging you. Although I dream of a day where perhaps with smart contracts we can bypass exchanges, especially for fiat buy in.

One question please. How does one actually log out of your exchange? I always have to close my browser and destroy all cookies and such. I would anyway, but would be nice to just log out first.

The logout icon is in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Thanks!

Dear @ionomy:

Once again I ask for your valuable collaboration since I still have
not received my funds in my ionomy wallet.
Several hours have passed and it has not been paid yet.

I transferred 55,913 HIVE to ionomy MEMO: 5e77d920a2a3e220e0558802

Transaction hash:
https://hiveblocks.com/tx/bd9bd676ad49281d2dcc912dca1666e7087c8498

These funds still do not appear in my wallet.

Hello, the developers reviewed your account and the issues appears to be resolved. Apologies for the delay. There was a system error that the developers have fixed.

If you have any further questions, please contact [email protected] and the team will address them.

Update: Confirmation emails now include the destination address and withdrawal amount.

Thank you, for your services, which I'm happy to use. Question: I have Steem in my reserve @Ionomy wallet. How do I move it to available, so that I can sell it?

Looking forward to hearing back.

@yahialababidi,

Some accounts show assets in reserve because there are open orders in the market. This includes partially filled orders.

If you cancel all orders and there's still a small amount held in reserve, that's probably just rounding error from paritally filled orders that were cancelled.

In most cases this reserve amount shouldn't be worth more than a penny or so, but if larger amounts are stuck in reserve, contact [email protected] or use this support form:

I had no trouble with a withdrawal

thats what she said

Thanks for the support!

Also, I've had no problems withdrawing hive from ionomy, although I think they only process them once per hour (I could be wrong).

I figured it might be something like this...
My withdraw request was sent exactly an hour ago... so not sure what's up.
But I have all the time in the world... these are just tests.

The ionomy guys are in the Hive discord if you have any problems.

I am powering down my STEEM and gonna switch it to HIVE. Too bad we have to sell STEEM buy Bitcoin 1st and then buy HIVE with Bitcoin. Wish they had a way to switch STEEM for Hive directly.

You can use steem-engine ;)

Yeah, so far they're great.

I like Ionomy. I support them :)

I have tried @ionomy withdrawal and I'm still waiting as well .... few hours now ....

On the witness thing... may I sugest @gerber .... started a witness recently

I changed my witness votes weeks ago. Trying to support the ones out of the top 20, need to adjust a couple more. I would like if you voted for @liondani he’s a pretty cool dude, delegated 50k HP to the skate community. Got my vote recently!

I don’t particularly care for CMC, too bad they’re like the google of the crypto for prices. Not at all surprised they sell ranks essentially lol

I’ve been using Ionomy and my withdrawals were all processed properly. I haven’t used it in the last week tho so cannot confirm if there is a new issue

Never had a problem with withdrawals from ionomy. But that was last week, so maybe things have changed.

Looks like they require 2FA on top of email confirmation.

For what it’s worth, I've used ionomy several times without 2FA.
