So you’ve decided to learn a language. (Good choice! We approve.) But there are so many options. Should you go for a more widely spoken language like Spanish, a politically relevant one like Russian, or one you can use on your next vacation? I think DUOLINGO is the most popular. I started with 'lernu', which is also great. Eble ni baldaŭ parolas en Esperanto. Ĝis revido !
I don't agree with Spanish being easy for an English speaker I know people who have lived in Honduras for decades and their Spanish is still lousy, and every English person's Spanish accent is frankly awful.
