Once we have like half a million daily users it could be really effective. Even more effective if the steem devs do their best to exclude the read@approved feature from their APIs (which would unfortunately limit the feature to steemit.com) but might help to deter automation.
Hi @sisygoboom ! great that you like me are sticking to this importsnt issue ! thanks for thread ) Well these "bad" accounts, which I think we can actually can call them, will always be there, let them carry on with their behaviour as it exposes them to indignation from those that see and will cut them from off in time from the true activities of this growing and I think good Community striving to lift themselves from the mud that these sorts do stir in this Ocean of Steem and probably also the wider real world !
So ive been thinking a little more on this problem! Infact we do not need to add another button or feature to the API at all ! As indeed the manual click of a user to be registered to compile this new list which relects "readers-joy" of reading and interest is already here !!
Namely the " Resteem" button !!! One which only a " real" person present on a post could chose to click !Surean account with 4000 accounts could amuse himself by using each one to resteem his own post, but ! Christ! lol thats sure is alot of clicks to just try and be visible in this newly created and free from bot votes and money scetion ! This section could be the beautiful shot in the arm that Steemit clearly so badly needs! The "Read&Resteemed" section would give power to the majority of minnow readers and the posts they produce, to have their say, their huge numbers comapred to Whales would make this section their own, oh so badly needed "voice and influence"! The influence through sheer numbers that smaller accounts cry for and deserve !! Let the majority of all users express themselves to give the " consensus" on which post today was most read and enjoyed ! This would make the newest and I feel best button on Steemit "Resteem" the "Ring to Rule them All ! " )) So maybe this is the info which we could collect and correlate with the Alogrithim ?? What do you say to that ?? )
Oh I would like to see this taken up across the board whether it be steemit,Busy, Zappl, Dtube or Dmania !! Why not, that the till now silent majority become the roar of consensus which could not be ignored and the real powerHouse and controllers of great contrent that we as investors of time and even money should want to see here on this Blockchain of Steem !
