Thank you for your elaborate reply. There are couple of things the team will have to consider to implement this though.

  1. Which edition of cards should be given out in delegation rewards
  2. How many cards should the team reserve and hold for the delegation
    but that all can be worked out.

Yeah... I'm thinking these 'delegated rewards' would work the same way as the spellbook - i.e. those cards are "pretend" and/or never enter circulation, so there could be an 'unlimited' number of them.

but yeah... great idea, probably needs a few mechanic tweaks / hidden impacts that aren't immediately apparent.

I was thinking that the team reserves 10% of the remaining print number to be reserved for delegation. That 10% will be reviewed every 2 weeks and will diminish and even end. That way you get a feel of reward cards being out of print too.
