Ok, I get why some people hate it and some people like it. The adventure part doesnt really start until the last episode, and the episodes before that are more like an adult-themed disney channel sitcom than what the trailer makes it look like it will be (which is more of an adventure with an unlikely band of "heroes").
However, it looks like they are moving away from that and towards more of a story and adventure theme with higher stakes for the next 10 episodes (as the first season is 10 episodes and they were signed onto a deal for 20 episodes in total). All in all, not a bad show, but much like Futurama, starts off being much more light and fluffy (story-wise) than it later ends up being by being focussed on daily life and small upsets rather than big, world changing events that the later show covers. All in all, not bad and shows potential, but the beginning may be a little boring and focussed on teenaged-girl problems than some would like, with the worst offenders of this trope being the episode where she tries getting a job, and the one where her father is away and she throws a party that no guy wants to dance with her at.
