RE: Oh that wedding...

in #life7 years ago

I recently read a book about a marriage in the old days. And a little horrified. What then was the norm now seems wild. I want to share with you my impressions of the book and tell you how it was before.

Marriage, when a husband and wife love each other, and their rights and duties are equal, today seems to be the norm .. But a couple of centuries ago, women could not even dream about it, they had no rights at all. All that women were allowed to do was work in the household.

The whole life of a woman was reduced to managing this economy. In fact, a woman often did not even have time to go out.

Over the centuries, husbands disposed of their wives as their own property: they could easily lock them to the castle or live with the light, accusing them of treason or theft.

If it is a question of treason, say, commoners, then they could just hang it up, like stealing an apple, say, in the main square or on the outskirts of the city.

NOW PRESENT HOW WELCOME THEMSELVES OF A WOMAN AT THEN TIME.

Well I am really glad that things have changed
