I know I said I'd post this on Monday, but I got halfway through writing it and was really tired, so I decided to finish it today.

The director got me Starbucks on his way to set, so that was nice of him!
Makeup artist started doing my makeup at like 9:15am, was done around 10am... other girl got there, she was hired to do the intro with me, be tied up, and blowjob in two parts. Her makeup took a lot longer cus she was sick or had allergies or something, so her eyes were watering/make-up kept dripping and not staying in place... so makeup artist kept trying to fix it.
We were finally both done getting ready by like 11:45am... went to a train station, shot some intro footage on train/getting off train with a go pro. Then went to a museum to have a fun day out (part of the storyline), was making selfie videos. First of all, I wanna say... The director sent me an extensive questionnaire prior to the shoot asking what is okay and not okay with me to do. I definitely agreed to slapping, face or body..... but the male talent I worked with.. is a good performer, but isn't a proper dom... is misleadingly calling himself a 'Daddy Dom', when he does not have the etiquette required to use that title. He is more of an egotistical sadist, in my opinion. I probably would have been okay with him smacking me in the back of the head... if he had asked me himself if that was okay before actually doing it. Was def not on the questionnaire, so I let the director know after the shoot, that he should add it, or at least tell that guy to ask the females first in the future. Plus, he smacked the back of my head really fucking hard, multiple times. I just didn't get pissed about it at the time, cus I could handle it and I wanted to get the shoot over with and not delay it even more. My brain wasn't fully performing at its best due to lacking of food and sleep and being smack in the head/face too many times that day anyways. I told director yesterday that I plan to tell this male performer to not smack me in the back of the head again, since he never asked consent to initially, I consider that disrespectful. Would prob get triggered and hella mad if he did it again. Director said he will let him know for me, since he is one that is gonna be involved in my four guy gangbang on Friday. Don't get me wrong, I like sadists, and I'm a sadomasochist... but I like sadists that are actual Doms also, I'm only gonna respect/trust them if they ask about do/don'ts first, realize the sub actually has the power, and are people that actually give a shit about human beings... if person doesn't give a shit about themselves, it's not likely they give a shit about others. At least in a professional setting, there's other people around to keep a performer in check if necessary. I just don't see why someone would do something without asking about beforehand at all though, personally. Definitely wouldn't fuck around in my personal life with that particular guy I worked with.
I should bring more snacks on set next time, so if shoot takes forever.. my blood sugar won't crash. Was just kinda bad timing, having the shoots back to back like that... but Saturday was the only day Aiden Starr could shoot me, and I really wanted to shoot for her also, so I made it work.
Still, even though I was thoroughly exhausted by the end, I'm sure the scene will come out amazing when it's edited together!

Nobody gets to decide what is "ready" for the Trending page. The misnamed Trending page is the list of posts with the most total unpaid rewards, an objective mathematical calculation, and one that is essential for seeing how the reward pool is being allocated.
The so-called majority that allegedly doesn't want to see what is getting rewards if it happens something they don't like probably should not be looking at that page.

I'd be uncomfortable defining Steem/it as a PTA meeting. It is a platform with a broad variety of uses (which derives its value in large part from the property of censorship resistance, something almost entirely worthless for PTA meetings).

Tag curation would be a good solution to this. People disagree about the meanings of a tag (the sex tag is the perfect example, some people just want to talk about sex while others might think that explicit, pornographic pictures are appropriate). Semantic tag curation would mean that some users could more easily make a strong definition for what a specific tag means and what it doesn't, making it closer to the moderated subs on Reddit.

Like others who live in a real community and have a reputation, I helped many kids from my real life community to join Steemit. My next door neighbor is 13 years old and I convinced her and her mom to join Steemit. By continuing to have hardcore porn on the main facing page of Steemit, this actually impacts my own standing in my community. This site does not say you have to be 18+ to open an account. If that were the case, then I would not care at all. But that is not the case, there are kids on tis site, kids that I helped to get on here. By refusing to follow the rules of putting the NSFW as the first tag, I don't understand how this site can really legally stand behind the fact that kids are on here. It's actually a legal issue: only sites that are 18+ can have hardcore porn on them. Obviously the developers need to find a solution to this or else there could be a legal mess in the near future. I have nothing against contributions to the site as long as the NSFW tag is used first so that children are not seeing this. I am not alone in this either, as Cryptoctopus raised identical concerns. Words are very different from hardcore graphic porn images. You really cannot unsee them.
I encourage you to read up on the latest in legal developments in the US. What you say does not seem to have basis in law.

Removing things from so-called Trending breaks the voting and reward algorithm and was an ill-considered and inappropriate mechanism to address NSFW content that may be offensive or inappropriate for some users. Better would be a user-option to enable such a filter when appropriate and desired; this could even include locking such a filter under the control of another "parent" account. However, even this mechanism would fail to protect children when inappropriate, illegal, or offensive content is posted and mislabeled.
As a stakeholder, and an adult, I need to see in context the complete list of most voted and rewarded posts (aka Trending) to assess whether the reward pool is being allocated appropriately. Likewise, as a curator, and an adult, I need to see the entire unfiltered stream of New, Hot and Active posts to assess whether those posts are appropriate to upvote or downvote.
If your neighbor has signed up for the site then they do not see Trending as their front page; they see their Feed as the front page. I would highly doubt that it would be appropriate for a child to "follow" @alexanova (nor other adult-content-oriented accounts which might be likely to resteem her posts) and therefore she would never appear on their Feed. It would also likely be inappropriate for a child to view any of the global pages, which could contain any manner of inappropriate, illegal, or offensive content, including those which are unlabeled or mislabeled, before those are downvoted (assuming they eventually are).
Some sections of this site are appropriate for children (i.e. choosing appropriate bloggers to "follow"), but many are not and never will be.
I agree with you that "child-proofing" steemit is not a good basis for what does and does not appear on the global feeds.
My issue with material like this in the global feeds is an issue of the most comfort for the most users. To me, porn is like anchovies. Even if you really, really like anchovies, theyre pretty disgusting when paired with most other foods. They simply don't go with a lot of things.

Now, i don't speak or vote for everyone, i just speak and vote for me. Me, personally, i watch porn. I have no problem with it. Look I'm not opposed to features that allow people to customize what they see, and create a family-friendly or work-friendly view if that's what they want. But global view that are intended to show everything that is on the platform (e.g., for curation purposes) should actually show everything that is on the platform (unless specifically customized otherwise).
That said, I also believe that the users you think will be alienated are already well-served by Facebook, etc. If we can also accommodate them by providing filtering and customization, fair enough, but focusing excessively on that market is probably a big mistake.
I am pretty sure that the fact it is not handing "nsfw" if it is the 2-5 tag is actually a glitch in the code. There is an open GitHub issue for the fact that tags are not working correctly, and the nsfw logic is a large part of it.
The community has requested that @alexanova use "nsfw" as one of her tags - which she is doing. IMO, your issue should be with the site, more than with @alexanova. She is following the rules that were given to her by the community.
That aside though, I think that the best solution is to allow each user to chose whether or not they want to view this type of content. It should be hidden by default, and users can enable a setting if they want to view it. That is basically what is being discussed / proposed in https://github.com/steemit/steemit.com/issues/827.
I am not sure it actually is a glitch. Or at least if it is a glitch, it one that seems to make sense on its own terms.
To me, a nsfw tag that is the primary tag (the one that determines the URL) indicates that the primary focus of the content is the NSFW aspect.
Something like sexy santa, or photography that incorporates some nudity, OTOH even though there is a NSFW aspect to it, the NSFW aspect is incidental to the post.
So basically the difference between art and porn. ANd before you ask, i determine the difference the same way potter stewart did.

What you said about it being the intended behavior makes sense. It could be that way by design. I am hoping the change to allow each user to filter for whether or not they want to see that type of content goes through. It seems like a good compromise that would make both sides happy.
Why should anything legal be hidden by default? Furthermore, who decides what tags are hidden by default? Asking for a friend.
In my opinion Steemit should be a censorship free community where users can post whatever they want. I am not even 100% against 'illegal' content being posted, although I am on the fence about certain types. Who am I to decide though.
Being able to freely post and view content censorship free does not necessarily mean that everyone has to view it though. Being able to chose for yourself whether or not to view something (without having a say in what others can/should do) still falls within the bounds of a censorship free community (IMO).
If we put NSFW content out there without the ability for users who don't want to see it to block it, we are going to alienate a large portion of our potential user base. I would agree that the people that are saying "NSFW content shouldn't be allowed here" are probably better elsewhere, but people who are just upset at not being able to hide it from their kids or co-workers are not necessarily people we want to push away.
There are a lot of ways to make the system more robust and elaborate (like degrees of NSFW content) but I don't think that is really necessary. Just having one "nsfw" tag that allows users to have some control over what does/doesn't get shown by default, seems like a viable solution. There are some gray areas, and a big rabbit-hole to go down as far as "what is really NSFW" - but I do think that a lot of it is fairly black and white. Given the right tools - I think the community can handle it.

Porn will take Steemit mainstream if it is embraced and managed properly - there is literally no better medium in existence. The potential is tremendous. And while I'm not a programmer when I look at the talent on the dev side I think this community is more than capable of creating a thriving adult content sub that keeps the adult stuff away from the kids.

Its unfortunate that the UI represents this vote as a flag (and therefore an expression of the opinion that your material should not be on the site at all). But like filtering, thats a website problem. In fact, if I had thought my downvote would hide your post, i would not have cast it.

Try not putting spaces in front (to the left) of the text - when you do that it marks it as preformatted and doesn't wrap the lines, making it a horizontal scroll mess.

Well this is a girl who can take a DP with "Moe The Monster" after an overnight flight, after just a single hour of sleep. I think insisting on paragraphs is probably an ask too far.
Just enjoy the words and pics for now; I'm sure her formatting style will improve; as far as prose and subject matter though; she's 10/10 so far. :-)

The more I keep seeing people whining about adult content when it is clearly labelled NSFW the more I am going to start flooding this platform with 'inappropriate' posts and it looks others have already got the same idea.
If Steemit really is censorship free, they will ignore all you whiners, how pathetic are you that even when somebody tries their best to clearly label the content NSFW to warn you you still try to censor it? I don't give a fuck about your 'reputations' if you truly believe in free speech and expression you will stop this targeted harassment against adult content providers now because that is very much what you're doing, you're trying to harass them off the platform.
I suggest in order to make these scumbags rage quit everyone should take part in posting more and more 'offensive' content to get these people off so they can't target individuals. When it comes to the censors who claim to care about their 'reputation' as I saw one poster here putting it and that they don't want 'children' coming here and seeing it that's bullshit, adult content is always the first to go because there will always be a bunch of oversensitive morons who find it offensive and that should always be protected so you know we can post just about whatever we want here.
I think this is really fascinating! Maybe you could consider doing two posts? One without the photos and which focus on more personal/non-sexual elements of your experiences? I personally have nothing against a post like this, but I don't think it has to be either or. Thanks for posting!

But no, not gonna happen because ... there's not always a personal/non-sexual aspect to the scenes I do. In fact, it's really rare that there is that aspect in my scenes. Scenes are very technical and not personal, and don't always have chemistry with the person, so in that case, wouldn't have much to say about them personally. And def would be difficult to not talk about ANYTHING sexually related. I'm not about to try to censor myself even more to please others. I might write about my thoughts and feelings about something possibly non-porn related, if I feel comfortable enough to, but it's not likely that it wouldn't end up involving some sort of sexual topic.
Yeah, I didn't mean to suggest you censor yourself. I just meant you could just SFW-ize the same post for a new post. Meaning, you still submit a post like this one, and then you post a similar post, without the photos and less graphic detail (talking about sex for you does seem unavoidable given your occupation :) ). And maybe add some additional details to make it sufficiently different. I just think you have a lot of interesting stuff say and and creating an SFW version, again not eliminating the NSFW post, would allow a wider audience to gain access to your insights. That content would also be more share-able on other social media platforms which could help expand your reach. Not telling you what to do, just throwing that out there. I appreciate you taking the time to create content for our little corner of the internet and look forward to seeing your next post.

how is that untrue?? for the most part, porn is largely unregulated on twitter & snapchat.... there are people who get suspended from being reported too much here & there.... but less backlash from users with adult content, that's for sure.
Porn may be uncensored, but political tweets are more frequently resulting in bans and shadow bans on Twitter.
You get backlash from users, but that is not in itself censorship, that's just the fact that we have a fairly small community and everyone gets more or less the same things on the front page. There is no Twitter front page so someone who doesn't like porn is very unlikely to see it by accident there.
What's different about Steem (not SteemIt) is that anything, no matter what you post, will always be permanently enshrined in the blockchain and will always be available to see in some way, no matter what the people at SteemIt Inc think or want. The same is in no way true on Twitter etc.
FYI, there's a bug with using 5 tags which i don't think has been fixed. Only the first tag works when 5 tags are used. I suggest you drop one tag . :-)

Sure as hell, not posting 'nsfw' as first tag, let alone as 'only' tag.... not happening. Doing that is basically the same as not posting at all.. since gets hidden from my blog that way & would be hidden from everyone's feed also. I know, because I've done it.
I'm not saying that. You could edit your post to drop one tag except the first that cannot be changed, e.g., the "writing" tag. Then all 4 tags will work. So, if some people are specifically looking at https://steemit.com/created/nsfw , your this post will appear and won't be missed. :-)

Yes, the bug causes only the first tag to work when 5 tags are used. If you used 4 or less, then all tags work. :-)

So great that you are posting this honest first person descriptions of your life as a porn star. I know there are a lot of people who say porn dehumanized or objectifies women (or men I guess). Hearing from porn stars / actors / performers / artists / entertainers (whatever you want to be called) first hand like this really puts a human face on it.
It sounds like a job with good times, bad times; good co-workers, bad co-workers; good "bosses", bad "bosses"; good tasks, shitty tasks; times when you're passionate and excited about it, times when you'd rather be somewhere else; people who appreciate your work, people who don't. And there are some who get more of the good than bad and some the opposite. Kind of like any other job working with people - waitress, nurse, personal assistant, whatever. So I really don't get why people get so bent out of shape about your chosen profession so long as you're all doing with consent which you so excellent touch on here. Instead of trying to drive porn performers out of business or into the dark recesses why not help make their jobs better?
Anyway, that's my perspective as a consumer of porn. Thanks for doing what you do and sharing your experiences!
