This is my beautiful wife Chelsea and I just wanted to share with everyone how lucky I am to have her. This weekend, it was incredibly cold and snowy here in Omaha, so we decided to be lazy, stay in and watch movies.

She decided to cook dinner and I was not disappointed!

We had candied sweet potatoes:

To go with with NY strip steaks:

And a peanut butter porter from empyrean (which I will write a review of later):

Just wanted to show you all how amazing she is! Cheers!

I recently tried that beer and didn’t like it that much

Really? That’s interesting. It was better than most peanut butter porters that I tried. What I did was, I opened it, helped her cook and clean up the kitchen, then drank it. It sat at room temperature for 15-20 minutes so I feel like with most porters, the flavors came out as it warmed up a bit.

I received a group of beers from a guy in North Dakota and a number of them tasted bad/wrong so I’m wondering if they were old or something. I found the peanut butter taste to be fakey and yes I didn’t drink at 50 degreesbut right out of fridge

hmm... it could have possibly been a bad batch, like you said.

Mmm, peanutbutter porter!! Sounds and looks delightful

It's incredible! Review to come!
