Principle:  Lack of objectivity leads to subjectivity which is arrogance.

'Frozen Assets'

Principles are timeless truths/concepts/proverbs for our ponderance.

Thank you Steemit readers.  Cheers.

A kind note to all new Steemians......good manners and thoughtfulness of others will take you far.

It is Steemit protocol...that if one is going to leave a comment, they should also upvote the post.

As for those who leave notes and links directing members to their site.....please be advised this is not the Steemit way.

bleujay does visit sites of newcomers.....of late there does seem to be a lack of noting the source of the photographs in the posts.....whether it is yours or someone else's please state the source.....another Steemit protocol.

Wishing you all the best in your Steemit journey.

Right oldtimer

It awsome @bleujay you made a super post with professional pictures with a great info about it . I really like it thanks for this post it give me a lot

Exelent photos :D

As I was scrolling down and got to the end with the title Frozen Assets I clapped my hands! Splendid title and the photos are lovely. There is often great beauty in the cold.

Good principle too, It's a thinker!

Greetings @meesterboom.

You know...arrogance freezes the best in a person....so hopefully it is an apt title.....and the thought of meesterboom in glee is a good one.

Always appreciate you stopping by.

So glad to hear you have capacity for the principle and the icing.

Yes......indeed aiming to get the grey cells on the move.

Wishing you and yours all the best. ^__^

Cheers.

If the grey cells arent on the move then something is a wasting!

I always like to spend my days in glee ;O)

All the best to you and yours!!

Great pictures and an important principle... well done. Loved the “frozen assets” aspect as well. Thank you for the post.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment @brian.rrr.

So happy to hear you can appreciate the principle and enjoyed the icing/photographs.

Yes....arrogance does tend to freeze one's assets...as it were. ^__^

Regards to your family.

Cheers.

Even when I think I'm 100% sure I can't always be sure. Great frozen assets, hopefully we don't experience the other type of frozen assets. All the best to you and have a good weekend!

Thank you for stopping by @cryptofunk.

You are correct it can be hard to determine if one is remaining objective......one could perhaps ask themselves......Am I making an issue of myself/my situ/etc?

Yes....hopefully not. ^__^

If one becomes mired in arrogance.....one 'freezes one's assets....is the thought.

Thank you for your kind wishes.

Wishing you and opheliafu a lovely weekend.

Cheers.

aw! intriguing quote!
love the pics !
specially the first one
how could have I missed this one last night?
forgive me

am glad you added those reminders below
hopefully, they get to read it
a lot of peeps are gaming the comment reward these days, they comment to get ups when they themselves don't even cast us any ups
how could one be so ignoramus - it's like playing ping pong simple as that
unless you are playing with a wall don't expect the ball to get thrown at you
what ya say mon ami?

I hope you're having a great weekend! and your significant other, too

Thank you for your kind reply.....lovely to hear from you.

Sounds bitter cold your way...yes?

No worries mon ami.....this weekend has been a bit of blur....

Yes....gentle reminders....those who make improvements will make it....the others...well...bon voyage.... ^__^

Thank you for your kind wishes.....yes.....a lovely weekend... ^__^

All the best to you and yours.

A bientot mon ami.

OMG, Love the pictures. Nature is really beautiful and the way you have added the life principle with nature it is damn good.
It is my first time coming to your posts but hopefully looking to read more interesting stuff coming from your side in future as i just upvoted and followed you.

Yes.....God did create this fantastic earth and all that is in it. As you say.....Damm good looking too.

His provision of Nature has endless possibilities and bleujay is privileged to photograph it.

Lots of 'stuff' is here to view....so glad to hear you enjoyed the post.

Good principle that I absolutely agree! Beautiful photos with nice scenery and wonderful artworks. I especially like the frozen water….it seems to be cold there! Great works, as always! ^__^

Wishing you all the best! ;)

Thank you for your lovely comment @tangmo.

Appreciate you stopping by....as always. ^__^

It has warmed up a bit since......bitter temperatures for about a week.....that is how long it would take to freeze a waterfall such as this.

Thank you for your kind compliment regarding the post.

All the best to you and yours.

Cheers.

It’s my great pleasure! I always admired your works, you did very great! ;)

Awareness about when you are objective and when you are subjective would help in most discussions ... for every participant.

Thank you for stopping by @pollux.

Yes....so true.....a perfect application of the principle.

Wishing you and your family all the best.

Cheers.

You have really come to be a world class Steemian. I have been watching you for over a year and though I can't read everyone all the time. I have watched you grow. Great job as always.

Thank you for your thoughtful and kind reply @sponge-bob.

Your opinion is highly regarded and inspiring.

Gorgeous shots @bleujay! In which application to you post-edit your pictures?

Thank you for your lovely compliment @dandylion.

Regarding your query.....these are edited in ipad pro photo edit.

Appreciate you stopping by....as always. ^__^

Wishing you all the best.

Cheers.

It's 2-dimensional vs 3-dimensional thinking. Haha. That's how I compare it mathematically. The snow is beautiful!

Greetings @hansenator.

Lovely....when it works out that way....not always.

So glad you got it.....

Looking forward to reading your posts.

All the best.

Cheers.

So very much true! Thank you so much for sharing @bleujay! =)

Thank you for your kind words @manandezo.

Appreciate you dropping by.

Cheers.

I would love if you come by with more principles everyday, as you did before. I think it is so important when we read them and apply somehow in our lives and in specific moments. I am sorry, I am just not feeling so well today. You know these days when we feel so much contemplative? That is me today!

I just wrote a big text saying so many things I just needed to say, and to express... I just need the right time to rest my mind a little and put everything back on the track.

Thank you for being so kind to me as you always was and I know will be, dear @bleujay!

Thank you for your kind thoughts expressed @manandezo.

Perhaps whenever I visit your site...I will leave a principle or two for you...since you do appreciate them so.

You know these principles are timeless truths......where can they be found you might ask.....how about the Bible......I recommend for an evening reading.....the writings found in the Book of Proverbs.....and the Psalms as well.

If you are a believer in Christ Jesus......you will have the assurance of life after death..

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.

What gives us absolute confidence in life is learning what God has written in the Bible for us.....how do we do that? We find a pastor who teaches the Bible from the original languages to his congregation. In order to have confidence in God we must know Him.

Thank you for the opportunity to think on these things.

All the best to you.

Cheers.

Have a look at .... www.rbthieme.org

Christ is in my heart all the time and I do really miss your principles. I do remember you posting them almost every single day, but I know it must be hard and life demands so much from us all that is almost impossible to give Sttemit attention every single minute.

I miss posting in Englis as well, so you can read my chronicles, short stories and poems. But I will fix that and I would love my old good friends there with me with my writings and stuff!

Thank you for always being so true to you and all of us! 🌟

Frozen Assets is very fitting, I am getting cold looking at that ice on the stream.

Thank you @azfix for stopping by.

So glad to hear you enjoyed the post.

The photograph communicated then.....it was a bitterly cold day..... ^__^

Hi! I'm new to steemit and I really enjoy your format of blogposts- contentful, yet without too many words. I feel like it leaves more space for interpretation. Insightful photos!

Greetings @coffee-brain.

Welcome to Steemit.

Yes...everyone has a different frame of reference...so rather than impose on whatever thought one may have....hopefully one will have opportunity for thinking on the principle without bleujay getting in the way.

So glad to hear you enjoyed the post.....it has communicated as intended in your case. ^__^

Wishing you all the best. Cheers.

Never heard that principle put so succinctly - well done @bleujay. Love your photos from the woods, especially the icicles on the stream.

Warm regards from @mustardseed and me. Have a blessed weekend.

Thank you for your kind thoughts @lydon.sipe.

Always enjoy hearing you enjoyed the post.....principles with icing. ^__^

Appreciate yours and @mustardseed's kind wishes.

Warm regards to you both from bleujay.

Cheers.

Quality post on steemit!

Thank you for your kind words @bassuniverse.

Cheers.

I like how you always add

A kind note to all new Steemians......good manners and thoughtfulness of others will take you far.

Good reminder/notice to everyone, not just noobs :)

Thank you for your kind reply @thealliance.

Very kind of you to drop by......appreciate all you are doing for newcomers.

Wishing you all the best.

Cheers.

NB....What a lovely surprise....thank you for the reSteem.

Yup....arrogance is very easy to slip into...it's a step above confidence with self-righteousness added to it. And you're right - it does freeze the person's mindset into a tunnel vision type of view....narrow. An objective person stands back, observes, is fluid and flexible. Good principle @bleujay.

Love the moss covered rocks and forest floor....and the intention of the black and white photo.

Thank you for your lovely reply...expressing your thoughts so beautifully.

Appreciate you stopping by.....as always. ^__^

So happy to hear you enjoyed the post.

All the best to you. Cheers.

The more limited the persons, the more unlimited their arrogance!
This is probably one of my favorite principles. Although they are all so great and I would not like to single out ...
But it is so harmonious and has an infinitely deep meaning...
Thank you very much dear @bleujay for your principle and artwork!
My most sincere greetings!

Dear @evgsk.

Greetings. Lovely to see you. Happy New Year.....if I have not had a chance to say so.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

Wishing you all the best. Cheers.

Many thanks dear @bleujay for your warm greetings!
Happy New Year!
I'll try to stay here for a long time )
My best wishes to you!

Fantastic Principle dear @bleujay I would add that it is a small step away from narcissism :)
Beautiful photos, this one with frozen water is the top!
Wish you a wonderful weekend! :)

Thank you for your kind wishes dear @pepe.maya.

Appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Indeed.....it is....and not much fun either. ^__^

Wishing you and yours a lovely week-end!

Cheers.

Beautiful photography jay. The pictures looks really beautiful and cold😉. By the way how are you jay ? It's been a long time.

Greetings @hrhridoy.

Thank you for your kind and complimentary thoughts.

Appreciate you stopping by.

Thank you for inquiring.....'jay' is well....how about yourself?

All the best. Cheers.

I am also well jay.

Thank you @maarnio...appreciate it very much.

Cheers.

I always like to look at what is behind, hidden to simple sight. I want to ask if you have a way to link the thoughts you shared in your post to the images you put on it. I desire great success to you.

Greetings.

Thank you for your reply @germancardenas.

bleujay usually presents the principle without comment so that the reader can bring their own frame of reference to the principle and think on it......the photographs sometimes do me the great favour of expressing the principle even more than when I intially selected them....and then sometimes they are simply icing.

In the case of this post.....the lichen circular on the stone which is circular as well and then the twig assisting in the circular motion expressing the idea of subjectivity.

The iced waterfall representing the idea of one freezing that which one brings to the table in any given situation when one is subjective rather than objective in their attitude.

Thank you for your query...hope this assists.

Welcome to Steemit.

Cheers.

Thanks for welcoming me to the community. I think your explanation is relevant to help people get a little bit in your way of thinking. Awesome usage of the symbols in this case. I love to understand others through their way of expressing life by imagery. I want to pull up a question, does objectivity really exist? What do you think?

You are welcome....my pleasure.

The word exists therefore it must exist.

As a state of mind.....it can be referred to to as a 'relaxed mental attitude'.

One where we are not putting ourselves front and centre.

Yet...as your query indicates...it is rarely seen. So where does one obtain this attitde of objectivity......it is found in trust in God.

When we are dependent on God....then we are no longer striving....thinking every man for himself.....learning to depend on Him......The Lord is my Rock and my Salvation...whom shall I fear.

Of course it begins with the Salvation Plan....God is not willing that any should perish but that all should have eternal life. For God loved the World so much that He sent His uniquely born Son....Christ Jesus...that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Religion is man seeking the approbation of God through his works.
Chrisitanity is a relationship with God through the work of Christ on the Cross.

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.

Here is hoping you find that objectivity.....thank you for the opportunity to speak on these things.

Wishing you all the best....God's best.

Cheers.

It is so awesome to find others that are trying to fallow the Master of Masters, looking at this world through the prism of God's word. It is a pleasure to meet you.

....and a pleasure to meet you as well.

All the best to you and yours.

Cheers.

I am a newcomer who has not know anything ... there has been none of my posts ... new introduc me and even then no one visit ... and this comment my perma ... thanks for the information ..... the picture is amazingly beautiful ..

thanks you @bleujay, this is very useful for me as a new user of steemit application.

Thank you for your reply @steemit-up.

I agree with a picture a that you love .... I am a newcomer thanks for the information ..... very beautiful photo

Very true.. lack of objective sometimes lead to failure not only to leads to subjectivity which is arrogance.

Photo 2 look very beautiful...it's like a a ice river ...

Re-steemed

Thank you for your kind compliment.

I look forward to reading your weekly principles @bleujay words to ponder, for the truths found therein, and the quality visuals -- true gems! Enjoy the week ahead!

Thank you for stopping by @ninahaskin.

Appreciate reading your expressed thoughts and kind compliment.

Apologies for the tardiness of this reply

Thank you for your kind wishes...here is wishing you the same....Wishing you a lovely week. ^__^

arrogance just ruin us from inside and creates difference i am glad that i read your post will always take care of this principle in my life :)
thanks for sharing

Thank you for your reply @starboye.

It is true as you have said....just ask yourself in a given situation....Am I being objective?

Yes...principles are for keeping.

Nice pictures, where were they taken? Seems like a great place to visit! :)
And I also do agree with things you mentioned, it si the most annoying thing, when someone does not even read your post and then just replies with link to his/her profile.

Thank you for your kind compliment @jepper.

Welcome to Steemit.

Great online name.

good manners and thoughtfulness of others will take you far.

I agreed with this, someone who really lacks these characteristics and attitudes are in great disadvantage in many aspects of life. One should also be careful of their thoughtfulness as it might get abused through time. We should all be careful of the halo effect.

Thanks for this @bleujay :)

Thank you for your reply.

Nice pics! And wise principles. Objectivity is important and many principles are timeless. We must have some absolutes in life or we will get lost in this very often subjective world. As a new steemian, I appreciate the tips. It is hard to pick up on a lot of the unspoken rules on this platform.

Thank you for your thought-full response....@introspector.

So true.....with regard to principles.

And so true...with regard to the many unspoken rules. ^__^

Pinciple; It is an elephant....one bite at a time....chew well.

Welcome to Steemit.

Hi! Nice to meet you :)

I'll try to muse about one of your picture in regard to the lovely sentence you gifted us with:
In the second photo, we can see a rock covered by green mold, a slow growing and persistent living creature that in humans can grow slowly and with time and given the opportunity can harm the hosting person.

Just like we can see the mold in the picture and imagain it creeping and covering the rock, and he can look unharmful whatsoever, so is the lack of objectivity - in the beginning a person might know that he is not acting objectively and ignore it - he will feel a bit uncomfortable though - but in time he will get so used to his subjectivity that he will get so arrogant and start to really believe his subjective and selfish thoughts and beliefs are the subjective thing to think about the situation. Just like the mold became constant and harmless in our eyes - so is this person losing his sensitivity to truth and reality.

Thanks for the sentence and photos- made me think a bit 😁

Greetings @kivsha.

Thank you for expressing your ponderance of the principle. Well done.

Lovely to make your acquaintance.

All the best.

you are welcome! will keep following as your profile looks an interesting one, you'll find that when I do find the time to comment(I'm a med student so I don't have much time usually) my comments are really nice and meaningful, at least I hope so :)

Amazing work, and the message is frozen with it! XD yep bad pun. But yeah great shots, and the message is very interesting! Thanks for sharing.

wow!amazing photography..this @originalwork..i like it..,thanks for sharing this post..best of luck,

Nice photos :))

Hey Bleujay, It does make sense that subjectivity is a form of arrogance, but if one immerses onself into a subject, it would be fair enough to say that certain individuals have a more insightful subjectivity?

I like your posts an am following for more principles to ponder, I leave you with an artwork of mine I did about a blue bird. I hope you like it.

BLUE BIRD.jpg
by: @artzanolino

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

The blue bird is lovely work.....thank you.

....normally I encourage Steemians to not post photos, gifs and such in the comment section as they distract from the principle...which for bleujay is paramount to the post.

Thank you for your vote.

Welcome to Steemit.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind when responding here,
as an artist I consider my voice stronger with images,
but I will respectfully adhere to the guidelines and principles of your blog!
