It sounds like you did everything you need to do to be there for your wife and newborn child. The fact of the matter is nothing is easy in life. Being a dad is one of those things that is always going to be tough but is going to be rewarding on a level that you could never imagine before. You may think that there is no way you could do it on your own but you will become a well-oiled daddy machine in no time. My hat is off to moms as they are the ones that set the gold standard and it amazes me all that they are able to do. I thought the same way as you when I first had a kid but I jumped right in there and got messy because I wanted to experience every last bit of it. I see you as a dad that will do the same thing and you will enjoy every bit of it. Now, as my children get older, I do it all when my kids are with me. I help with makeup and hair and everything in between. Enjoy it all!!!
Ya, We are trying to enjoy it for sure, in a matter of time, they will be 18 and moving out. ahhh
