G'day Jessies
So each month I get my fair share of lashings, while not as bad as those of my ancestors I still feel the majority of it is wildly unnecessary. I'm not quite sure what sets people off these days, it seems like a collection of the most innocuous things and you really can't keep track of it all.
I feel like complaining is seen as constructive and being angry at being productive and yet both these things are anything but, in fact, they are the complete opposite.
When will we find a way to move past this?
I've been shouted at by bosses and clients before, had mean things said about me, been threatened too and I assume these are tactics to get you to react and do what they want but if it's not sensible or possible and your point has no merit it really doesn't phase me much.
I just thought by now I would have reached a point where people see that this sort of behaviour does not work and try a different approach, perhaps its naive of me to assume so.
People don't want explanations they just want to be angry
If you enjoy being angry by all means go ahead, have at it, say what you want, shout, throw your hands up, swear, insult me I get that's more a reflection on you than it is on me. I just don't understand why people want explanations only to not be happy with the explanation, then did you even want it in the first place?
What I find truly hilarious is that on another day the exact same explanation can be seen from another perspective and its completely fine. I'm really not a fan of having to deal with this sort of behaviour, its rather deflating and I don't often entertain it.
I usually try to get on with my day and complete my tasks. It just seems like engaging would be a waste of energy and it wouldn't improve the conversation or the situation.
I guess I'll never understand
The more I have to deal with people the more I feel like I'll never understand them. The whole thing just makes me tired.
Have your say
How do you spot trigger warnings and deal with angry people?
Holla at me in the comments! All my commenters I will now refer to as Jessie. Jessie is a good friend of mine, but Jessies got a girl and I want to make her mine.
So have at it my Jessies! If you don't have something to comment, simply comment "I am a Jessie"

I hear you man. It's obnoxious when people act like that. They lash out at you despite there not being great reasons to do so. I find it the same way that children stamp their feet; these people yell and get angry when they don't get their way. Boo hoo!
It's unfortunate for sure, I thankfully have not experienced it in a long time but I would deal with one or two people who would do it and I just look at them and reaffirm my point, and continue along while they yell, bitch and moan.
While disagreements and clean, polite arguing are perfectly fine and acceptable there is no reason to blow up. Eventually we will be able to get past this but there's currently too much of it displayed on media like shows and movies so people think that it's normal and ok to do.
Yeah if you can voice your concerns in a reasonable manner I’m happy to listen but if you’re going to bitch and moan there’s nothing I can do about that!
I’m just here to get things done! I’m here for a good time not a long time I always say

Mmmm I wonder maybe that is more akin to "acting angry" I have never understood people who have hissy fits. I don't mind swearing etc it is like water off a ducks back that, what gets me is when they repeat the same thing and the original "course of events" - You said I can come get the prints today, or but I asked.... May I borrow a hammer please?
Anyhow, shows of anger indicates someone who I could never trust seeing as they probably beat their wife and rape the dog. That will include woman and still the poor fucking dog.
I personally am a go silent and when angry which I almost always am to some degree the aim is to remove not stand and whine just so I can get attention and spend even more time with said pathetic flesh ogre.
Nope I think people - ie this exludes raging at a pc :) - i think the showy oh my now I am angry is attention seeking and if given a chance I will stab them in the eye with my dick... certain pre-requisites required.
Lol I honestly don’t even know how people reach that level to angry it’s like sure there’s an acceptable level and then they just take that level and turn it up x 100000000 like you made yourself more upset than the actual incident or the person ever could

Some days I feel light as a feather..
Others, like right know, I feel like beating someone to death in front of their family.
Lol I can imagine, I think if I wasn’t so chilled and lazy about things I might have that same sort of reaction

You made my fat angry when you called me a Jessie!! How dare you! Also, wtf is a Jessie?!
I find with anger, it gets the better of us no matter how often or little we let it. I also find that anger comes across as targeted to a person or situation, or just generally in that moment of time.
There are far too many triggers and to put yourself in someone's shoes to figure out why they're acting the way they are is just too much work lol
As long as it doesn't escalate to the point of physical violence or mental abuse, it's probably just a blip in time for that individual.
When in doubt, grab a Tex! Lol

Jessies do not ask wtf they are, they just are! Once you accept your jessification it will be a lot easier for you!
I agree with what you saying and I’m fine with the occasional blow out but if you’re always sour and seething I really just want to avoid that!
Lol I’d love a Tex, I’m so having 2 once lent is over
