This one is very tricky and subliminal. It's been one of the hardest habits to break! I found that it's easier to switch boredom eating with boredom drinking and drinking a ton of extra water helps suppress appetite, promotes digestion, and gives the feeling of "doing something" that boredom eating is used for. I dunno if it will help everyone, but it helps me massively!
