Exercising is good for your body, spirit and mind

in #life7 years ago

Since I re-began going to the gym a while ago, I started having these revelations about what it really means to exercise your body. The time in which I did not exercise my body at all gave me more time to read and I have to admit that my present revelations are owed to all those new things I learned about the body-spirit connection. This article is about what I learned you should keep in mind while exercising and how it will improve the way you feel about yourself.

1. Try to understand why are you doing it

It is very important to get past all the superficial premises that society imposes on us through aesthetics and figure out if it is really worth it to work so hard on something just for a specific kind of look that will you obtain much later. Every squat and every pull differ in relation to what drives your actions.

I love to exercise because I like feeling the whole of my body. When you train all of your muscles, they feel like an armor set on your skeleton. You feel the whole of you and that gives you confidence.Anthropology and Theology combine to say that the stuff we are doing with our bodies is changing the World Of The Above. And that world is just a different dimension of you, in which your higher self-awaits for you to meet. That’s the whole premise and drive of Yoga practitioners and if all those stretches and crunches make your body more harmonious, any kind of muscle activity should do it as well.

2. How to train well

After all the talk about form an exercise is the only thing you should be focusing on. The form of an exercise is more important than the difficulty because it is the actual unraveling of the body mechanic. You improve your form by focusing on every inch of your body to do its work perfectly. You need to be: not too high, not too low, pelvis in the back, spine straight, head high etc.

What you are doing through the form is performing a mental exercise to improve your physique. The focus must be on the muscles to feel even – the balance between left and right synthesizes the most of the spiritual evolution, and so does when talking about the material form.

3. Take pleasure in it

Arnold Schwartzerneger talked about how he loved the almost orgasmic feeling he gets when overtraining a muscle. He was talking about the burn. I would be crazy to like the same thing since my goal isn’t at all body building or mass, but I have my own pleasure. I like to feel my muscles contract in the exact same way, left to right, and it is a drag to make it happen.

If you analyze yourself deeply, you will see that this applies to yourself and almost anyone else. One leg will be slighter more trained than the other one.The link between my mind and my body when I train gives me immeasurable satisfaction.

4. Train in your own way

One thing that bumped me out the most was that everyone was doing the same kind of training during a week and it felt boring after a while. One day I gave it all up, the schedule, and started training what I felt like in each day of the week and how I felt like.

Some girls do what their trainers recommend, which can be the best option in most cases, but by doing an exercise my way (with some expertise of course) I learned that I can better isolate and work each part of my body. It makes sense, no one can tell me better how to do something that only I can feel the effect of.It is very important to have your own style because you have your own body, and since everyone has his own path to figure out in life, your body must have his.

5. Learn to enjoy the results

Many bodybuilders can tell you that the days in which you can feel the effect of your work are the ones in which you’re not doing any (maybe even for 3 or 4 days in a row).

In the same way, you must understand that rest is part of the training and it is then when your body will thank you for not giving up on him. You will feel reborn and that’s when the link between spirit and body becomes even clearer.

human being is composed of three sides and each side needs positive energy to grow and balance.
The body needs food and exercise ......
Mind needs intellectual renewal ..........
The soul needs inner peace and everyone finds a way to this peace .....

In order to succeed and live in happiness and peace we need to balance these three side.We do not focus on one side and forget the other.
