i have a couple in my garden
sometimes they join me during my coffee break or whenever I go there
they built a nest on the sycamore tree but it got destroyed by the damn magpies
which probably ate up their eggs - can't tell cause Im too short
they're pretty relaxed and dare come close to me .. I give them the snails :D
did your temporary pet go back?

Do you have blackbirds in your garden? So you have to have a good melodic awakening by their singing then.

He's already in a wild birds protective association and they're close to set him free again.

on mornings I get up at 5 am they're on a concert
I love their songs
when they're hunting snails during their meal time and I am in the garden
I hear them make a sound like that of a wailing dog
i get attached with animals I take care of in my garden
one time with 5 baby sparrows in a conifer in the nest
so I thought that sucks to be separated with them
but nature is a lot happier in the wild - free
Intentamos aportar nuestro granito de arena a que este pequeño sobreviviera a su etapa de abandono del nido, que dura una semana, sin haber aprendido a volar; es evidentemente cuando la mortalidad del mirlo es la más elevada.
Ahora ya depende de él que volando libre no se deje cazar por ningún cernícalo o halcón.

Linda esa ave, yo tuve una y su canto es muy confortable; pero son muy delicadas y consentidas, toca estar muy pendientes de ellas, entiendo lo de la despedida pero es necesario y lo mejor para este grandioso ser.
Y cuánto le vivió el mirlo?
Según he leído tienen pueden llegar a tener una vida de 5 años pero en libertad y debido a su elevado índice de mortalidad, su esperanza media ronda los 2,5 años.
