Maybe a weird title to start this off with but fuck it. The test results were good and I'm very happy.
It's always a nervous affair going to the hospital.
Last week my dad went for a scan and then a week later he gets the results.
We always go together.
The doctor said everything was fine. It's the second time this happened now. Very relieved.
Normally we would have some KFC (double crunch, o yeah) to celebrate but this time I suggested getting Dutch Herring.
He agreed.
Arriving at the fish place he changed his mind and decided to order fried fish. I stuck to my guns (diet) but the smell of fried fish....oooooo the smell....
We had a good time. While there we took some fish home for dinner.

The fish looks great. I'm going to have to try that salad dressing you made. Soy, rice vinegar and Ketjap. I've never heard of Ketjap, I'll have to look for it at the market. The dressing looks like it would be incredibly light yet flavorful and my wife and I both love soy. Great job staying on the diet, passing up KFC, now that is will power brother!
First of all, thank you, man! Second, I don't know what Ketjap is in English. Google translates it to soy sauce, but it sure has a different flavor.

At least you still have that strong mental fortitude to resist eating something fattening despite the fact this is a day of celebration. Food is fuel, not therapy! haha
The Fishpot with rice looks like it turned out really well. I haven't seen you cook fish yet (I think) but you, of course, cooked it like a professional. I think your plating is pretty good. I'd be happy with it if I was served some of your food in a restaurant.
Great to see you are still going to the gym. I'm not sure if that morning gym session fact is true but I don't know much about how the body works

It's great to know that your dad is ok. The fishpot with rice looks like it came out pretty good. I think having some more fish in your diet could help out with our weight loss. My uncle who is a ophthalmologist but is really fit and looks 20 years younger than his real age swears by a diet of chicken and fish.

Glad to hear your father is doing great. My husband has stage III spinal sarcoma and I lost my father to lung cancer so I can relate (even though it's a suckie way to relate) wishing you and your father the best.
