Socializing is important to somewhat extent either it is your working place or your personal life. But the main thing is to keep the balance. There’s, of course, a contrast between congeniality and genuine fellowship. Role of socializing cannot be denied because the world is becoming a global village and people are coming closer and there are lots of things to share. Every company has to ensure her social stature to keep herself in the limelight. There is a number of ways to and channels where companies and workers can do socializing. This is one of the great ways to reach other people from different companies and workers from other companies to share experiences.

Personally, I dislike meetings at work. They tend to distract me and it takes me longer to get back into the work flow mode. But I tend to be an introvert. However, I still can enjoy meetings. And for the extroverts in the office it's a real benefit for them. Like you said, I suppose its about balance?

Well you have given your thought thou but notwithstanding if the co-workers will also have the interest of relating should be an issue and as well consider work-input in-order to achieve the desired or expected work-output ..... I think this as well can be challenges!

I agree it has negative points too but we need to apply integrity and positivity to make this productive.
