well, its more imporant how many hours you get a quality sleep ... if you sleep 5 hours without waking up for the toilett, bad dreams etc.. it can be more than enough if you sleep 7 hours but you wake up two times for the toilett, one time because of bad dreams... I think 5-7 hours is generally ok and it depends from person to person.
