RE: Financial Integrity. Can You Be Trusted With Money?

in #life7 years ago

It's easy not to have financial integrity when you don't assume that people's money in your care should be spent. But some people have this twisted saying, "Money and a man is not supposed to be together."

They talk about the temptation of spending other people's money. This is something I don't understand, how someone can be tempted to spend a money that is not theirs in the first place. I don't just get it because I'm never tempted to spend money that ain't mine.

Not that I'm a Saint or something remotely resembling that, I don't see people's money in my care as something to be spent. But I could understand why my mother was the treasurer of up to 8 different organisations, a position with time that becomes too much work for her. She even exempts herself from any meeting when she's aware there would be nomination for the post. But I still see them troop into the house in the night to tell her she was nominated in her absence!

Congratulations to your mom on her PhD and birthday. Steem with zero transfer fees makes transaction worth the while. Doing transaction in Bitcoin always comes with the trepidation that there would be transfer fees, which most times discourages transfers of less than $10. Still a surprise why the world had not made a currency with zero transfer fees their number 1. Well, humans are strange people and everyday they get more strange.
