RE: My Door to Door Sales Experience -- There Has to be a Better Way

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Neighborhoods, where older people live that are retired, is good during the day. Set a goal and knock 100 doors a day, do a conversion ratio to see how many leads you are setting after a week. Door to Door
till there ain't now more! Rinse and repeat. Also, be very educated and kowledgable in what you are offering and speak with high confidence.

Thanks for your comment! Since I posted this, a lot has happened. I won't get into the details, but I'm no longer focusing my energy on solar right now. I do have my license and will most likely revisit the industry in the future, but I'm going to be working on my network marketing business for right now. :)

Best of luck to you and if you ever get back in Door to Door, feel free to follow me, I have been doing it my whole life. I'm a weirdo i know, haha

No, man. I'll follow you right now! Haha. I can still learn from you and from your experience. I'll admit that I didn't like going door to door, but I did learn a lot from that experience and I'm grateful for going through it. I was just looking for an opportunity that paid me based off of my efforts and that it had leverage over my time, money, and people. And of course, that it was based on residual income. I found that in network marketing and so I'm happy with it :)
