    Smoking is very damaging to health. You have to support yourself, to support your decision to quit, thinking that:
  • smoking leads to the death of more than 430,000 people annually
  • is the cause of 87% of cases of lung cancer
  • Smoking is the main cause of chronic bronchitis and pulmonary emphysema
  • affects not only the smoker but also other family members or work colleagues
  • can lead to sexual problems and even infertility
  • Smoking can cause serious heart problems, hypertension, chronic lung disease, peripheral arteriopathy, and various cancers (oral, laryngeal, esophageal, or lung)
  • the smoker person exposes his / her child to the risk of dying as a result of sudden death syndrome; children of smokers have an increased risk of asthma, frequent ear infections or lung infections; if they are already suffering from asthma or various forms of allergies, exposure to cigarette smoke can seriously worsen the disease
  • If you smoke, be sure your baby will start smoking
  • smoking during pregnancy affects both the mother and the unborn child.
