Tarot Reading on Significance & Symbology of Donald Trump's Rule in America and Patriotism.

in #life7 years ago (edited)

I chose to ask this question as we are upon Memorial Day and Donald Trump's recent increased budgets for future Military expansion. It seems that plays a significant role in his theme of "Making America Great Again." So, what does that mean for the future of America? Let us see what the cards have to say about it.

Under the Rule of Donald Trump, what symbology and significance do the Patriotic Holidays hold for the future of America compared to the past?

For this reading I chose to use the Llewellyn Arthurian Tarot Deck. I personally have a deep connection to the time of King Arthur I felt this was the perfect deck in resonance with this question.

I have drawn the Llew’s Spread. This spread’s purpose is to Illuminate A Situation. I share my interpretation at the end of this post.

The 1st card drawn is placed in the center and represents the SUN: This card brings the hidden aspects of the situation to light.

The 2nd card drawn goes to the left of the 1st card drawn. DAWN: Represents the situation that is manifesting.

3rd card drawn goes directly above the 1st card drawn. NOON: Represents the issues that cannot be ignored.

4th card drawn goes directly to the right of the 1st card drawn. DUSK: Represents the help that will be received.

5th card drawn goes below the 1st card drawn. MIDNIGHT: Represents the resolution of the situation.

Here is the result of what the spread looks like. I will share what each card is expressing to us as you scroll down and look upon each card individually.

1st card drawn found in the center is from the Suit of the Swords.

Swords Stand for Action:

They are the force of energy that causes us to move into interaction with the world around us with impact. Bravery, leadership, and responsibility are symbolized by swords. Whether the passionate forced is used for good or bad intentions depends on the governing mind; hence destruction and danger can also be represented by this suit.

Remember that the 1st card drawn represents the SUN bringing the hidden aspects of the situation to light.

What we have is the Three of Swords:

Heartache. Hurt. Harsh resolution. Distress. Having been abandoned. Severance. Feeling crippled by the weight of past wounds. The pain of being misunderstood or unfairly judged. Rejection. Estrangement. Fear and isolation. Separation. The pain of triangle dynamic in relationship or interests. The need for mental control over emotions. Frail health.

In this scenario this card presented itself in Reverse:

Lingering conflict. Difficulty healing. A long challenging journey to recovery. Unhealthy involvements and associations. Breakdown. Bewilderment.

2nd card drawn is from the Suit of Wands.

Suit of Wands:

Wands symbolize the power of the intellect and intuitive thinking. They represent accomplishment and success in the full sense if an evolved person or purpose which contributes to the community at large. Wands signify valuing more than money, and advancing and enhancing quality of life, whether by arts, sciences, humanitarian causes, etc. Other keywords include self-reliance, intuitive, self-made persons, visionary art, ideals, conviction, and wisdom.

The 2nd card drawn representing DAWN the situation that is manifesting.

Here we have the Queen of Wands:

An intelligent woman with a warm heart. She is admired for being self-made, having earned her standing in the world by way of her own hard work and talents. This experience makes her sensitive to the struggles of others she finds worthy. Courage, conviction, high ideals. A steadfast supporter. A woman who stimulates and teaches those around her. A person of intellectual influence. Politics and education. While she enjoys luxury, she values accomplishment and attempts to leave her mark on society.

3rd card drawn is from the Major Arcana.

3rd card drawn representing NOON the issues that cannot be ignored.

We have 14 Temperance, The Keeper of the Well:

We have an image of a supernatural woman or angel who is has one foot in water and one on land to symbolize being of or bridging two worlds. She pours water from one vessel into another, as in the tempering custom of mixing water and wine.

Tempering. Adaptation. Moderation. Managing a volatile situation in a calm, thoughtful way. Grace under pressure. Healing. Balance, reflection, and patience. Having clear boundaries. A confident and outspoken survivor. Bridging tow very different worlds. The successful mixing of two opposites. Combining materials. This Tarot card is sometimes called the Art card and speaks of visionary art that brings ideas from one world to the next. Being of two worlds. Ability to adapt. Beneficial transformation. Successful combination of ideas, lifestyles, or people. Creating a nurturing, appropriate environment. Feeling protected and removed. Greater Being always with us. Self-control. Compatibility. Blending and harmony. Finding inner peace. A period of waiting and constructive use of time.

4th card drawn is from the Suit of Cups:

Suit of Cups:

Cups represent the emotions, creativity, and the soulful aspects of life. Visionary art, devotion, charity, and protection are among the more demanding aspects of the suit, which also includes the gentle influences of goodwill, friendship, and empathy. Cups are symbolic of the life force as fertility, nourishment, and nurture. Desire, attraction, love and union belong to the suit as a powerful brew of nature’s cauldron.

4th card drawn representing DUSK the help you will receive.

Here is the Ten of Cups:

Full heart. Blessings. Higher, mature love. True love. Real companionship. Dreams come true. Safety, security, and satisfaction. A giving relationship. Natural order. Home providing joy. Thanksgiving. Trust. A feeling of arrival and freedom. Fruitful partnership. Deep connection. Joining of talents make for a powerful, creative force. Fortunate, natural pairing. Harmony. A dreamy partnership as a source of light and benefit to others.

5th card drawn once again represents the Suit of Swords.

5th card drawn representing MIDNIGHT the resolution of the situation.

Nightmare, suspicion, and insecurity. Depression weighing one down. Worry and delays. Longing and misery. Pining for a loved one. Distress and obsession. The haunting of past hurts and injustices. Debilitating, unhealthy situation. Unrelenting enemy. Loneliness. Indecision. Bewilderment. Premature end.

My personal interpretation from this reading. I found it so fascinating that as we started with the Suit of Swords we ended with the Suit of Swords. That first card revealing hidden aspects of what need to be brought to light and us ending with resolution of the situation. I felt we got a good sense of duality through this time. A time where we see a lot of conflict on the political stage as well as within our own beings about what is taking place. This push for Patriotism always leads to more wars and suffering. I see that many will feel empowered by this message of Making America Great Again, only to discover in the end they were duped.

It appears amid it all there will be those that stand up for organic natural lore and oppose the war machine in place. Those that seek balance and will be lead by natural organic woman. This I feel refers not to feminism, but natural woman that is nurturing and healing. This will be more women connecting to their Earth Mother in support of what is taking place. What happens in America seems to affect around the globe, because of our Military presence. When women remember their organic nature, they will help the masculine remember theirs as well. This is when we will find our way back to living as natural woman and natural man in harmony.

I hope you found this reading helpful. 💜🌍💚

Great to see you @icedrum. I am well, and I hope you are. Thank you!

How do you find using tarot with your current level of awareness/awakening compared to many years ago?

My relationship with Tarot actually didn't start until I increased in my awareness. I was afraid of them and didn't trust it, much like many of the healing modalities out there. I was so afraid of anything that seemed outside of myself. I have had intuitive knowings my whole life, but I thought something was wrong with me. Now I innerstand the gift. I have met some beautiful aware people that still use Tarot for themselves and others. It is a connection that is personal for some. Even things such as dowsing seemed strange to me. But, I have a great friend that is very much aware and can dowse at such an amazing level. She uses it as confirmation with what she is feeling within. For me personally I have been shown and given tools that allow me to connect directly with my Greater Being without a need for Tarot or anything else really. I work from a heart centered space more than a headspace. But, I know Tarot still speak and carry wisdom when working with one's pure intentions. I know that many are net yet ready for what I would have to say on that. So, I use things like Tarot to share information that can be beneficial to those who accept Tarot, but are not yet ready to accept that I can connect with a greater aspect of myself knowing I am a creator and not created. It is part of sharing information and meeting people where they are.

Wow, very insightful read. Thanks for sharing this!!

Hey @chelsea88. You're welcome. It was so revealing to me how in sync I am with what is happening. This drawing expressed exactly what I was observing and feeling within. I hope you are injoying your weekend. 💜

After some recent health events, I am enjoying my weekend and glad to be back feeling healthy again. It's amazing to be in sync like that I hope you continue to share what you are finding out. =)

@chelsea88 well I am so glad to hear that you are feeling healthy again. It is no fun to feel less than your whole self. I know that well. And, thank you for asking me to share. I will be happy to. It is fascinating to see unfold in a deck of Tarot cards what you are already know inside of yourself, and to to be able to share it with others visually. Injoy your day! I am in NC and we are in a never ending wet system at the moment. So indoors is as good as it gets. lol! Making the best of it. 💚
