You've said what I've kept in my head. We have some similar history and concerns. I'm one of the people who's looking at things constantly and worrying where it all leads to.

We have discussed things so I know that you have been overloaded by information lately. I'd say that you should do what a writer does; writing. Keep writing regularly. There's so much to share.

There's a lot of respect for your work and people know you for the quality that you have always delivered. Votes may decrease in numbers but there will always be some.

My next article will come out today and it mentions you in good words. I tried something new and it's working nicely. Keep publishing posts. Good luck!

Thank you Ilyastarar. I've got a lot of respect for you, and what all you do... You should check out that guide by sprititualmax I put at the bottom of this post, there might be some stuff you're interested in there. Now that I'm working on my attitude and meditating a lot, along with the deep introspection and dealing with my mental health stuff I'm realizing that a lot more of it has to do with my attitude than anything else.

Are you psychic or what?~ ♡

I've actually been going through an eerily similar struggle for quite some time here. I have missing blogs/articles that Ive been itching to write for a while. Some of them are previously announced in other posts. Did I forget about them?

no way.

I just refuse to publish something when I can't fully devote the attention and time the topic needs. You would literally be on the floor from laughter if you only saw the sheer amount of topics and notes that I currently want to cover.

I may not be the most adept at research articles, but when I want to contiously work on a longer piece, it tears at my heart to watch each day go by when it goes unpublished. It head trips me into feeling that I'm not doing enough, when much of everything is actually in the works where only my eyes see. It makes me hella sad too.

let me tell you what I'm up to though

I'm going to be posting everyday, but much shorter than before. Consistency I feel would break this tugging feeling. And even though I've been gone for a bit, this very topic is the main issue that I wanted to resolve for my own blogs when I returned. Here is my thinking behind it...

I know that I'm a great writer (you know your stregnths too!) There is no one we need to "prove" our quality to. If you forgot, you're ridiculously amazing. So instead of writing one crazy long article tying everything together in a post. I will only cover one aspect/section at a time. The benefits are:

  • I feel motivated and confident by building up consistency
  • I can work on longer pieces on the side without the stress of "presenting nothing"
  • My frequency will allow for readers to want to check my page more, helping build momentum

I find it intriguing that through meditation we've both have reached different conclusions! Would you look at that?

With love,
Ya gurl shello

don't lie! You are good at research articles, as long as it's something you are really interested in!

we do miss you here, so I'm glad you're back to posting, even if it's not as much as you used to.

Well, I've got a surprise for you @inquiringtimes hahaha :D

Like your post keep up good work

Hey man, finally saw the mention :P
Thank you!

Plus, there's no better thing to start the transition from writing style to blogging style than to pump out those blog posts :D

Cheers

Steemit is fast growing, and only those ready to stand will truly stand....
And this in particular struck me:

All I can do is write what I can write, stop worrying so much about rewards, and diversify my online income as best as possible. I don't think I can churn out articles every day, but I'm going to try to post as frequently as possible and try to accept that every post doesn't have to be an epic journey.

Because consistency is a key to success. As John Maxwell says:

Growing is not an authomatic process.

You must be intentional about growing on this platform.
Nice post; steem on....

wise words, murphylee!

I think your weakness is your strength as you describe it. If you see that you care about something, you only write, if you get discouraged, you only write. You are not a blogger but you are a writer. There is always something to write, there is always someone to read to you, your followers.

"If you see that you care about something, you only write, if you get discouraged, you only write. "

Thank you! :)

Glad to see you make it out of the depths of winter depression intact. At least there's that!

I can attest to the fact that a disability can be a superpower if you learn how to use it in your advantage, everyday I feel guilty for not being able to read much or to make an exact complete research on a subject but I use creativity and intuition to fill up the blanks where I lack information, and sometimes it results in stupidity and delusions but more often it results in art ...
about the trending page ... I checked that only few weeks after I signed up, and never since , and yes people take advantage of schemes and tools, to make a fast shallow gain, but with communities and getting to know each other , the quality will rise above

you have been a hero of steemit for all your research and dedicated work to help the platform and minnows but the quality of your mind and your skills will bring rewards and appreciation no matter what you choose to write about

personally I would love to know more about the man behind the genius

Hello! I found you just today and have already read a great deal of your posts (and I can't stop). Good job, you are very inspiring!

Hey, your profile says you like occultism, what if you start writing about zodiac signs it would be awesome if you do that, I could be one of your daily readers, haha. Your posts is very reflexive, I do have problems with socializing with people, sometimes I want to go to a terapist or something to know what's happening with me all this time, but I just keep writing, making music, reading, and this stuff makes me tolerate what we call world... greetings my friend, I follow you.

well..... I'm interested in esoteric philosophy.. but I haven't been studying much about that lately... I do have some research prepped in that area, but.. crypto research takes a lot of my time, anymore... also, astrology is not my strength at all... right now my focus is mostly on developing a livable income, I think when I have that a bit more in order I'll spend more time working on the esoteric

keep up, bud :)

Just write and everything will come to place. Of course its practical to think about the earnings but as they say, "come for the money but stay for the community" :)

I have a deep appreciation for those who write well-documented thorough articles on steemit or elsewhere.

I am not one of them, because I generally chose the shorter posts which don't bore an average reader (yes, that's a risk nowadays), but also don't please someone looking for excellence or completeness.

I may have wrote a few such articles in the past, so I know how much work and care they need, which only means my appreciation has a good reference point.

Hopefully writers who feel attracted to write for excellence will continue to feel the motivation to do it. I for one will appreciate such work!

hmm... well you might consider your audience on steem. the average reader might have lower voting power than others who might appreciate in depth writing... then again, it depends on your subject area.

That is true. On posts I will have to keep searching to find a better balance in the future. About my comments, I try to adapt them to the type of post and maybe previous comments I've read (I don't always succeed though).

There is a good article in Steemit.

Awesome life blog

Right now I was reading about some links that walk in steemit that take you to the steemil page and your account is stolen and this will get worse over time as more and more people arrive to the community.

I always read you and whether you publish every day or sometimes a week I always read you because I like your research. ;)

be careful where you put your password, that one is for a site called steemil.com rather than steemit... so it's important to be aware what you are clicking on :)

ok thanks, I'll keep it in mind ... I can not afford to lose my account because with Steemit it's what we live with at home.
