I was just thinking back to when my daughters were both young. I refused too do what other mothers were doing by filling there juice bottles with tea, i filled my daughters with water and Robinson's no added sugar, additives or preservatives. I would put enough in to colour the water but made the juice warm.
Nichola loved it, she drank it all the time. As she grew I started using ordinary bottles with the sucky tops, she drank so much that her 2 front baby teeth started to curve like the shape of the bottle top. We then changed to a cup. She still drank so much you could hear the water splashing around in her stomach.
She is now 20, she has been loaded with cold from Saturday night. She pulled out a bottle them asked for some warm juice. She has gone through a few bottles. Both my girls have never drank tea or coffee, Nichola asked to try a cup this weekend, she had one sip then spat it out. Jessica is a fully trained Barista, has worked in a few coffee shops but hates the taste.
I must have saved them a fortune not buying take away coffees over the years.
Thank you son-of-satire
just think of the job those poor kidneys have, filtering out that much liquid every day.
Mother nature is great.
As long as its good liquid, :)
They tell me that the ' Water' bottled in lots of ' Glen****' is the best.
Would have kept the kids quiet as well, imagine a dram or two in the baby's bottle, should work a treat, even now, a couple in the slaves coffee and you could have your garden, no sweat.
Might even kill the pain. Great ' Water'.
HA the cheeky sod has nabbed my whisky i was bought 2 bottles of red stag as i like a little tipple before bed, he decides he likes it too and drank them
At least it wasn't a "Glen ******" , They would help take the pain away.
I wish something would take away my pain :(
Get a tittie bottle, fill it with Glen ****, refit the top, curl up and drift the night away.
The top is to stop the waste when the bottle falls from your sleeping mouth.
That's one way of looking at it...
On the other hand, I'm a coffee junkie and normally spend about ten bucks per month on the habit. That's because I stick to home-brewed. :-)
That's another thing i am glad there not a coffee junkie like there dad lol :)
Nice post
I like coffee and tea but never buy it in a coffee shop. I like my own and restrict myself to the amount of caffeine I drink in a day. I don't think it is particularly healthy. Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon.
I treat myself now and again but its very rare, I too would rather drink at home BUT I hate Tea eww even the smell makes me want to be sick lol :)
I like white and green teas. Not so strong tasting and have health benefits, or so they say.
I used to like them before I got pregnant the first time, it was that pregnancy that killed my love for it
There isnt a day I don't buy a coffee. Thats $730 a year only on cups of coffee. That is if I only have the one...
That's a lot of money, maybe try cutting them down, you could be rich lol :)
Yep could put all that money into steem!
Exactly :)
It's true. I don't drink coffee, because I used to stay up because of it. And for a few months slept only for a couple hours. My doctor prohibited me from drinking coffee. I have stopped drinking coffee ever since. :)
I like a coffee in the morning it wakes me up, I then have another around tea time but mostly drink water :)
I have replaced coffee with water. It gives me more sleep, LOL.
A cup of coffe a day from home is all I have ever had. There are far worse other things. Your girls got a special treat with their flavored juices. 🐓🐓
I agree there are so many other things but you have to start somewhere. :)
