I just received my new card today for another 3 year of open credit. I mean my credit card allows me or gives me the opportunity to buy something through credit for 3 years, amazing but possible debts again will start to accumulate up to 90K pesos.
Now I am thinking whether or not I would still go with it for I have plans to go exit soon. I need to clear my credit card accounts before I will finally go home for good.
The problem is I seem to be dependent with it. Every time I pay my monthly bill I ordinarily use it immediately so the obligation will never be cleared.
Anyhow, as I have been telling here, I have high hopes with #steemit to help me get away from those obligations, get a job locally and will eventually be capable to support my family back home.
But honestly this time? I’m not sure anymore. I just hope the value of SBD and STEEM will rise again soon.
How about you do you still keep your credit card account?
Steem on everyone!

in living this life do not be overly dependent on steemit because sbd and steem can go up and down maybe a little credit card guarantee @long888
Yah you're right I should not depend on #steemit or put into it my future haha, life on #steemit is uncertain although it still helps a lot.
I think Debit cards are fine if you plan on using them for something either necessary or worthwhile. If your fridge broke, for instance, and you desperately needed a new one - putting it on credit is a good idea. Or if you need to make a necessary, long-term purchase, the flexibility to pay it off over time is great.
Sometimes at work, I see people buying food with credit cards. This shouldn't become a habbit as paying interest on food that you cannot afford to pay up-front is a bit crazy.
I think taking out an interest-free (or low-interest rate) credit card is a good idea as it contributes to your credit history/score. A good idea is automating bills to come out your credit card and putting the cash back into the card account straight away. This builds you a good credit score while making the most of rewards like frequent flyers. :)
I agree, I am also enjoying the rewards by using my card frequently.
Yep, I still have mine sir long. For me, it's a good thing to have a CC, as long you have good spending habits. What I do -- I always keep track of my expenses by writing them down on a notebook. I also never miss my due date to avoid extra charges. So instead of the bank earning from me, it is I who earns from them through a point system. There are still times when i buy impulsively, but I make up by not going out to movie houses and restos for a month.
I hope things will go really well for you this year so you can be with your family soon. All the best sir! 💪
Wow you did the right thing in dealing with your cc, keep it up, and THANK YOU I am really hoping for the time wherein I could be with my family again soon, for good.
credit card s good to people who uses it wisely & doesn't abuse it . . . but its devastating to others who doesn't uses it properly, I know of several personal stories buried of credit card debts . . .
credit card should not & is not an extension of your wallet; only use an amount you can afford to pay at the end of the month; spend within your budget
be a responsible credit card user . . .
Yeah it is wise to keep to keep or maintain a credit card.
Great post long888 (58).
It is alarming when the coin's price is going down including the pioneer of the coin; bitcoin. So all the hope growing around steemit/steem are fading away I guess. So better to do keep doing what we were doing in pre-steemit era.
be a responsible credit user.I don't own one and the idea of having and keeping a credit card is very far from me because i don't like debts but if someone wants to own one its their choice then for this case i agree with @grezsr last phrase of
