Depends for how much weight
It is $ 4 per lb. I think I got 3 or 4 tomatoes for that. Remember - California is expensive and Heirloom tomatoes are usually more than regular tomatoes...
That price doesn't actually sound too bad then really. Probably not much more than it would be here for homegrown artisanal produce.
Well, if you are a big tomato eater - it is pricey and having your own in the garden feels better - but I still buy some since I want to support everyone. food I can justify - other stuff not so much...
