@firepower I have been following for little less than a month. He has high reputation and very well verse in both steemit and cryptocurrency. Some of his posts he puts out a question and writes about his opinion on it. The fact he posts questions allow his audience to react and respond back. He usually responds not only by comment but upovte too. Due in part he has so many followers many of them who share his thoughts will often upvote readers comments too. It creates a sort of harvesting area where everyone is supporting each other. This is where I sort of wish I can do someday. Be able to write a post that will have many followers be engaged in and upvote me and others on the specific topic at hand.

Yeah, sorry, I'm all over. Yes, that's a good one. I'll probably roll a couple of things like that into one post. I need to do some research, because some things have changed. Do you know, for instance, at what point users get the vote power meter so they can adjust how much weight they're using?
I know that on steemit it's at 500SP and assume you can then split it as small as you want but I don't know as I'm not at that point. On busy I believe you can spilt from the start but only by 25% intervals until you have a certain SP.
That's 100% but I will give my own comment 1% from busy.

If you go to busy.org, everything from your Steemit account is there. You can do all your voting and there’s a slider there.

Does the slider on busy work for plankton too? I wondered about that. If anyone in the class sees this and has less than a 40 rep, could you test it? Not sure what the parameters are, but, if you normally cannot change your vote power with a slider, check that for me, please?
It's works for this plankton. 😏 I don't remember what my rep was when I started using it.
But it only works for the upvoting you do there on busy.org. If you go back to Steemit.com your upvote goes back to 100% if you don't have a slider there.
There's also a slider that you can download. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for the shoutout! It's hard keeping up somedays, I am struggling to think of what I can offer my readers. Plus I am so far out of time zone, the assignments come out between 10pm and 12am, so I generally don't see them until I wake up and then if its a work day I get home and do my homework and go to bed only to rinse and repeat. Thank god its Saturday now and I can try to catch up, if I can think of an idea lol. Best of luck on assignment three.

Day Three Homework
I have been following @cryptogee since I started on Steemit. One of my comments was able to prompt them to make a new post. I like how they post general musings, there isn't a set topic, it just kind of wanders and varies(like my train of thought). It gets the audience thinking though and discussing the ideas and concepts. I'd like to have some posts in the future that really provoke some thought. This might be more do-able as my follower pool grows. So I am definitely going to work on that.

If you slowed it down just a tad it wouldn't hurt my feelings. I'm finally catching up, It's been very intense to me so far. But I have learned TONS.
I'm getting more than I expected from the class and enjoying the adrenaline rush a bit.
I have a lot to do today offline, so I will spend an hour or two replying to comments and checking out fellow students.
I would love to see 10 or 15 comments on a post and people engaging others on my comment line.
My stats have improved from day 1. I know my follower count will go up when you add me to the student list. lol

Second, she seems to only resteem posts by others that she really likes, and keeps resteeming to a minimum (26 resteems... a good 1:2 ratio, I thought)... I've only seen kind, encouraging and thoughtful comments from her. I'm sure she'll be a success here. The person chose to analyse is @sarahart - She has been on Steemit for only 2 weeks and yet has 112 followers already.

After seeing yesterday's post rewards I was shocked. I didn't expect this, so I was getting what I wanted before that happened. Now I'm even more thankful and I'm ready to keep bringing out my best.

I posted a contest. I'm not expecting something huge but it's a start. I want to post my art analysis and I want people to participate by telling me which work of ar do next. So I thouht a contest would engage them to visit my blog regularly and hope for more, and I want to help people as I'm being helped, giving them promotion and (I hope) some SBD.

I have 6 new followers and I followed ten more people. My bandwith has seemed to be cool and my last post was voted by a whale, which I never thought could happen.

The sky is the limit! I love answering comments and if I don't have to worry about bandwith there's no problem doing it. I'll say at least ten good comments considering the content of my posts.

I’m having fun with all of this. It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone a little bit, but that’s a good thing. Somehow I’m an introvert, even online, so I’ve had on my “company face” so far here on Steemit, and through these assignments, I’m letting more of my personality to show through my posts. I didn’t know that I wanted that, but I did. I’ve learned to engage my audience by being one of them, not just talking at them.
Day 1 stats compared to today’s stats:
Day 1: following 112, 117 followers, 149.079 Sp, and about 10 votes per post.
Today:
following 115 (I’ve unfollowed a couple because they haven’t posted anything since November and a couple because they’ve never posted anything and have been on Steemit since before November.)
I’ve got 183 followers.
My SP is still at 149.079. (I haven’t powered up for a few days for several reasons.)
The upvotes on my posts have gone up. Raising my average to probably 15.
My comment numbers are growing, and I’d like them to keep growing. Who wouldn’t like 100’s of comments per post? I just want my numbers to keep growing.
I’ve noticed since I first signed up for Steemit that @sumatranate has excellent audience engagement. He throws out questions that aren’t just there to read, but really get the reader thinking about what they think and what they believe.
I think the Steemit community is, as a whole, a generous and active community. I’d really like to try tapping into that and help share the community’s ideas on how to borrow from what’s going on on Steemit and apply it in the real world. I think I can do that by asking my followers for their ideas, writing up posts that include their ideas, resteeming their posts.

I kind of have a problem. My main supporter doesn't seem so pleased with this commercial format. It may work to gain upvotes but is not my style so total payoffs are lower. I have to work even harder to keep the integrity of my blog while applying your techniques. I'm walking on thin ice.
