Sort:

3 medium baking potatoes (or sweet potatoes)
1 red onion (white/yellow for sweet potatoes)
3 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon finely chopped rosemary
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Pinch of salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F (210°C).

Wash and remove the skin from the potatoes and spiralize them, using a medium size blade. Spiralize the red onion as well. Spread out the potato and onion noodles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, chili flakes, dried oregano, and freshly chopped rosemary. Toss to coat with your fingers and then place the noodles in the oven. After 15 minutes, if there are any pieces that are starting to brown too quickly, cover them with aluminum foil. Continue to bake the potato noodles until they crisp up, checking every couple of minutes. After 30 minutes, all noodles should be cooked and ready to eat. Let the fries cool for 5 minutes to crisp up a bit more and then serve immediately.

Hot damn Denise! This sounds splendid. I shall most definitely try it and save the spiraliser from the torture of the garage! Woot woot!

Try them both! I don't think you'll be sorry!

I dont think I will either, they sound like an awesome cajunesque thing. I have never tried to spiralise an onion. I hope they take it well :OD

You can almost spiralize anything!

Steady lass!! ;0)

I found my link to cauliflower pizza. Now, before you get all frowny-faced on me, just know that I am a convert from the regular pizza! I love it now. Honest Injun!

If you decide to make it, just know that cauliflower is full of water, so I usually squeeze it out so I don't get soggy pizza.

Take a look. Don't be a hater because I am sending you the link to the post. It is the easiest way to see it.

You'll regret it, I promise you.

HAhaha, I might do! I might regret it because it has saved itself from the bin!

As long as the Good Lady is not aware that it was saved from the bin, you're safe. ;)

She is aware alas. I fessed up that I had only transferred it to the garage for space. I am a kind soul at heart 😉

You've not suffered a thousand cuts of the courgetti and have been forgiven from the sounds of it. You reminded me of my father, who was the kind to throw things like that in the bin. I remember I rescued very old egg beaters one time while visiting, vintage, can't buy those anymore, useful things (the cast hand powered kind that you could crush a skull with).

Those are probably the things that should have been kept. So busy these days is utter pish in the quality department.

I can be harsh with the bin but I ask fighting my inner hoarder all the way. You should see the state of New when I play as computer game where you have an inventory. It's constantly full!! Which is the same thing I have to fight against in life!!! 😀😀

Yes, exactly. I told him what they would sell for here and snatched them to bring home with me. Same with glass juicers, lol, I have three.

So you're a closet hoarder, ah ha! Busted. 😂🤪
I operate this way...3 month-6 month-9 month rule. Everything is gone through at some point in that cycle. If something comes in, something equal must go out. Yet still, I feel the albatross of possessions, few as they are. I should have been a nomad, lol.
