Trying to lose some fat!

in #life7 years ago

So I set a starter goal to lose 30 pounds in 3 months.  Sounds doable to me if I keep focused on my goal, for 2.5 lbs a week!  I'm trying to lose by doing one meal a day, basically eating most of my calories between getting off work and going to bed.  I've found that I'm not as hungry as that would suggest, since my stomach shrinks a bit.  In addition to that, I'm going to walk for an hour on my lunch break at work, since I'm not going to be running around in my car finding lunch and taking a nap!

And I took some starter photos! I'll try to take them once a week for comparison.

M.in the same shoe..im.inspired... I can relate.thanks for this

You can do it! I lost over 100lbs eating 2 meals a day, counting calories, high protein, and 1 day a week i would pull all carbs out. I walked or road a bike 20min x2 a day. 10lbs a month is very legit goal! Good luck to you!

Thanks for your comment! ;)

Ps i would also recommend only weighing yourself once a week. It helps the mind. Cheers

Hello my friend.
I have read that you want to eat just one meal a day.
But if you eat healthy food you can eat also 2-3 times a day.
It's not important how much you need.
It's more important what you eat.
You must eat low carb.
Dont eat bread or pizza.
Eat lots of meat and a bit of rice and you will see how fast you will reduce your fat.
Good look my friend.
If you need help, just ask

I should add that I feel light headed or very hungry I will have a high protein 100-200 cal snack, and it helps greatly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do like to try different things, but I know low carb doesn't work for me as a starting change, after trying many times, because my energy level gets low. So, just no carb for most of the day, and balanced at dinner. Perhaps after trying this for a while I can find transitioning to low carb easier than going low carb as a starter.

Yes your right your energy get to low with just low carb.
You must eat low carb combined with rice.
This will give your body the energy it needs.
But dont eat to much of the rice and eat healthy rice.
Make it without oil.

thanks again

Good for you! Sounds like a healthy and realistic plan to lose weight! Best of luck.
