I think some that live here are more particular about where it comes from, lol. Chipotle stout...yum, that's one I've never had but would indulge in. I like trying them all. It's even better if they give sample tastings, been to a few pubs here that do that.

I always like a sample tasting! The her shop I go to often does little sample sessions. I have ended up spending a fortune after those!
LOL! That's always a thing with samples, spending more. Here, there are several small distilleries, some make limited editions, very small batches. Pricey, but wonderful to experience.
I love small distilliries as they are not tied to making the mass product that has to be utterly generic. Although it doesn't mean they are above making some bad uns but they turn out some gems as well
Yes, exactly. Much more room to be creative when not mass marketing. There's no way to learn without making mistakes and sometimes those mistakes turn out to be either winners, or lead one in a direction of unexpected growth.
Totally agree, some of the mistakes turn out to be glorious successes!
Ahh, the good Scotsman is a fan of mistakes that turn out to be glorious successes (if not that, at least they are valuable learning opportunities) 😉 Not sure about the orange beer my father made though, ugh.
