MORE ARMADILLO PROJECT PHOTOS

I'm really liking this effect.

We are working on illustrating a children's book that features a farmer, a dog, and an armadillo. We needed some good black and white images for it, so we decided to take our own photos and then edit them to make them fit appropriately. The effect used on these is called "Escher," and I'm really liking it. Below I share a few more photos we've been playing with and arrange them in a storyline to make them even more enjoyable to check out. Even "Grandpa-Pepper" liked what we saw when he saw some of these. Enjoy!

They look hand painted! I didn't realize they were photographs until I saw the face of the farmer and realized "Hey that's PP!"

Wow! I love the pictures!

That's a really cool effect. I'ts a really nice way of having images that don't actually look like photos. And it allows you to have a common style throughout the book.

Nice work ;-)
