In my personal experience, 10 hours is optimal. Eight hours of sleep is enough to have a great day. A decent day can be accomplished on seven to seven and a half hours... But sleep is so elusive for me. My body hates getting up before 9am, and I don't like trying to go to bed before midnight. However, I have to be awake before 7am (and I'm lucky I don't have to get up at 5 or 6am). I, unfortunately, have to rely on sleep aides to help me go to sleep at the right time. It's truly better than not getting enough sleep! (Yes, I have tried every natural method out there.)
