A better tomorrow is what one gets if they work on their today. The present, the now, the work done today can change your tomorrow, it can change a man’s life. Today links with past and future. It is the reality of life, the existence,
A man dreams big, if he wants his dreams fulfilled he’ll have to work on his today, if he doesn’t work to achieve his dreams and just dreams about it, it will lead him to a dead end and his desires will remain a dream.
‘As you sow so shall you reap?’
IS THERE SOMETHING STOPPING US FROM WORKING ON OUR TODAY?
Is it the lack of motivation? Or the lack of resources, Man sometimes is so lost thinking about tomorrow that he forgets that he is standing on the platform of today, this is the major hindrance that is stopping man from work on his tomorrow.
In this journey of achieving a better tomorrow, today is the only thing that matters. Once a man starts his journey he should focus on it rather than looking back at it. Past is a lesson that we have to let go of, tomorrow is a mystery so no need worrying about it pointlessly, today is a present, that is why it is called a gift. Major sins of a man are forgiven so that he/ she can watch out for the present and can make a better future.
It is wisely said that:
“Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.”
Man Relies Too Much On Tomorrow:
Man keeps procrastinating, he relies on tomorrow, that tomorrow becomes today and the work is again moved on to the next tomorrow, a tomorrow that never comes. Extremely foolish and optimistic people wait for what tomorrow brings them and forget that it is today they have to care of, to focus on and to cherish so the tomorrow they are dreaming of can welcome them with open arms.
In the end it is as Socrates said:
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”.

Focus On the Task Beforehand:
When a man keeps his eyes firm on a task he accomplishes more than what is required for a day, he works hard and never lets his past get the best of him because he knows the only way to get rid of the past scars is by taking care of today and not letting any hurdle stop him. Today does bring hardship and adversity, but this hardship is the major tool in shaping a man’s future. People who run away from them hoping that tomorrow may be better and with less hardships and prefer to sit idle and deny the truth will wake up one day realising that they have wasted the golden days of their lives.
It was even said that:
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called ‘Yesterday’ and the other is called ‘Tomorrow’, so ‘Today’ is the right day to love, believe, do, and mostly live.”
Man Should Just Move On:
A man’s worst nightmare may be his past, which is always on his mind and is not willing to leave him, it is upon the man to either perceive this nightmare as a source of motivation and to make a better future or as a source of depression and ruin the better future. Most usually gets depressed by their past experiences and stops themselves from experimenting on new things and just sit back, while very few learn from their past experience’s, put them aside and put their hopes and thoughts on today, they know that the scars caused by their past will heal once they start working on today and make a better tomorrow.
‘NEVER LEAVE ON TOMORROW, WHAT IS TODAYS TASK, AND NEVER GO BACK TO WORRY ABOUT THE PAST’.
When we are young we think about tomorrow, when we are old we think about the "Why I did not do it before".
Lol Yeah, but we could stop that thought by investing in our today so that our tomorrow would be blessed.. Like me I am already investing in my tomorrow
When not you, then who? When not now, then when? Thank you for reminding us, @sameer777!
Grasping the importance of small, clear, immediate steps to reach that big, glorious goal in the future is a major break trough in valuing today. More than that, the more one does, the more one gets into the habit and joy of doing. It reminds me of the almost paradox effect we see when people change their lifestyles and start doing more sports - although they move much more, they have much more energy.
One thing I didn't quite understand though. What do you mean with "Past is a lesson that we have to let go of"? Learning from past experiences and incorporating the learned into todays decisions seems like a pretty valuable skill to me. You actually say something along the same line in your article ("Most usually gets depressed [...], while very few learn from their past experience’s, put them aside and put their hopes and thoughts on today [...]").
Hi @sameer777 this post really inspires me, so it is worth to be resteem.
This is a great article. A lot of people take little things, like cleaning, and move them forward and forward until it's too much to do in one sitting. It starts with the little things, and they will build habits to make the bigger things easier to do.
A good focus on the task beforehand today will make tomorrow a great sail.
Why think about tomorrow when you can make it better today. Allow tomorrow take care of itself tomorrow.
This is true life inspiration @sameer777
Well timed and composed too..
You are right indeed. We should live in present life without bothering so much about future

The past is the past, and the future is conditioned by what we do in the present.
Therefore, we need to take advantage of every passing moment, and be as active and productive as we can. Only that way can we improve our future.
