It is crazy how the crime epidemic, and the feelings of support for the criminal, is spreading throughout the lands. I grew up in south Florida and it used to be a quiet area and everyone knew their neighbors. Now a days you don't know what to expect as you walk down the street. The guy next to you is either going to want to shake your hand or rob your wallet. I personally think that as the rule of law no longer pertains to our elites, and there are no repercussions to their law breaking, then that mentality is going to permeate thru the rest of society. Which is what we are seeing now and is why crime is escalating rapidly. I moved to a so called third world country a few years back...and I feel safer here then in the city I was raised in. Times are changing. Let us hope for the best.

Wow, what a change for you! And I feel your sentiments as sometimes I want to move somewhere known for being a bit "safer". But until punishments fit the crime, I don't see things improving anytime soon.
Thanks for stopping by. :)
