At first glance it may appear every daily action and decision is a product of planning or circumstance. Generally we are beings of habits. Meditation allows us to take time to reflect and put alternative thoughts and reflection into action. When during meditation you start to ponder what meditation actually does, you will be opened up to the world of how one in this universe actually functions, which may have cascading positive long-term personal effects. Roots of meditation lie in never stopping questioning things, yet being able to let go is equally important.
