In today's world, most people jump from one thing to the next one, they don't take time for themselves and often let their decisions be affected by all kinds of short-term stimulations.
Meditation
There are all kinds of meditation, but most people think it is stupid or kinda laugh about it. Since we basically no downtime these days, because everyone is constantly getting messages on their phones etc. I believe it is really important to take a step back and just watch your thoughts for a while.
I do it for 5-10 mins every morning and evening and it really helps me control my thoughts and emotions. Instead of worrying about everything and complaining I can just shut up my inner voice and do the things I have to do.
In general, i think this is a life-changing habit and everybody should try to meditate a few mins each day.

Meditation is a very important thing one need if you want to progress in life because it provide the avenue for one think before acting
Truth be told, I dunno if I'm gonna wake up and meditate, but I do know whenever I get a chance to walk down a quiet road, I get all my thoughts in one place, this works for me!!
At first glance it may appear every daily action and decision is a product of planning or circumstance. Generally we are beings of habits. Meditation allows us to take time to reflect and put alternative thoughts and reflection into action. When during meditation you start to ponder what meditation actually does, you will be opened up to the world of how one in this universe actually functions, which may have cascading positive long-term personal effects. Roots of meditation lie in never stopping questioning things, yet being able to let go is equally important.

I really think meditation can improve our consciousness and our ability to focus in everyday life, but I really struggle to start. What are the best sources to learn and improve it day after day?
Most people that try to start meditating try to hard and because of that struggle, just sit down and focus on your breath, sooner or later your thoughts will drift away from your breath. Something will come to your mind, think about it and try to concentrate on your breath again. Just start with doing this for 5mins and increase the time, when you get better at it.
Just search on youtube there are some really nice videos about meditation!

I never tryed a meditation, but I think you're right by saying that we allways get nofications on smartphone and other things that need our focus. So we don't focus us on ourself. So, I don't do a meditation, but trying to focus me on myself and my plans for the future without any electronic around me. It helps me too.

Well, more than questioning what Impact Meditation has for my life in general, I would like to know how steemit affects the daily structure and spiritual balance of oneself.
