I love that you said "normalising humanity." We really are just humans having human experiences. I sometimes say to my kids that I'm "feeling very human" or some related statement when I'm vulnerable and pulling myself together.
You are correct. We need to make sure we aren't curating too much of what we show the next generation. Life is not all cheese for the camera. I take pictures of myself crying sometimes because of that. Maybe I will be brave and share them here sometime. It's part of who I am, and I find it's good to have a balance of happy and tough moments in my camera roll.
