No money for design? Do it in Loft style!

in #life7 years ago

Hi 2 all!

Not so long ago we decided to rent a room as a workshop. After calculating all expenses, it became clear that money for furniture was sorely lacking... :) It was strongly decided - to do everything with own hands. However, as always! This can be a small guide, how to save a little.

Were bought:

Pallets - $18
Grinder - $30
Furniture shield - $56
Gas - $5
Nails / Screws - $7

And we started!

My wife saws a pallet ... she's doing it better than me :) In the background - the finished part.

Fitting parts of the table

The firing process. It's not as scary as it seems the first time!

In the process, it is worth to clean up a little

The room itself

Furniture shield is ready to be used!

One side has grown :)

Almost finished assembling shelving

While I was busy assembling the shelves, my wife made such a simple thing for decor... Rosette, it seems, in confusion :)

Then we went home to finish things made of pallets...

The result here is a strange throne :)

And a simple mirror in the style of the entire premises

Also we made a sofa from the remaining pallets. Until now, we haven't decided what kind of fabric use to sew a pillows.

General view.

While we were doing all this, we had time to repaint the walls in white. It became much lighter and more cozy! Overall, we liked the result.

Do not be afraid to take on any business for the first time! I wish you every success!

Sincerely, Terry Craft.

"Do not be afraid to take on any business for the first time!" totally agree!

It's practically my credo :) We live in a digital world where any information can be found. And therefore, with the proper approach, any case, even done for the first time, can be done well!
