Agreed. We shouldn't sacrifice our values in the pursuit of political power. It will only bring pain in the end anyhow.

Sadly that is what is being done to this day. I don't know if the politicians themselves represent any values of their own or just flip flop between sponsors and the masses. It's a tough job for sure, but I'm hoping for the system to really improve - the whole politic scene. More transparency and discussion between the leadership and people.
