Hi Steemians!!
Now see in a professional athletes life or Rugby player in this instance, you grind for all you are worth this part of the year- A time called “Pre- season”.
Me at a afternoon training session.
With training sessions basically taking up all the hours of your day- literally- from gym to rehab to field sessions and fitness sessions between 8am and 5pm, sleep and nutrition dominates the last few hours you have left.
Even though its a tough time of the year somehow you have to find that fight to work even harder than the rest- looking for left over minutes in the day to put in a few extras.
I have found that being a pro athlete there are other more important things that help you stay focused, both mentally and physically, not only do mean enough sleep and good nutrition, but time away from the game.
Quality time- be it with friends, family, playing with your pet or even being alone! Whatever makes you happy outside of your main focus and goal, is just as important if not more!
Quality time for me is breaking away with these two bae’s!
Luckily after the tough times, like always the good times start!! When the season starts you will always reap the reward of hard pre season work!! If that and your balance out side of the “game” is right- you are set!!
Experiencing those great moments on the field last season.
