Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
Thank you @gavvet for this wonderful message in this season of Christmas. It's all about Christ and being like Him.
In my effort to be like Christ, I would treat each person from every class, race, gender, and religion with great respect. I would make sure to have one God and One Savior in my heart and mind. Kindness would be in every act of mine, and my heart would be full of forgiveness. It is after all what Jesus, more than any before him embodied, the ideal of forgiveness, no matter the situation.
Gratitude would be apparent in every of my action, and i would be remembered as one who was always filled with gratitude. However, I would always hold others in great esteem and respect while maintaining my personal ideals. I would inspire others to find God deep inside not from without in things or people, but through logic and story.
I would also want us to remember that Jesus didn't write the bible, others wrote it about him. So we should see beyond just the letters of the Bible, for the letter killeth. It is in the story, humility, and spirit of the bible we can find how this great man came to impact the world.
By God's help, I'll be able to live to please God, representing Him in every area of my life.
