Ah, that can be really tough, feeling that you must keep going all the time.
Prioritising is a good idea, but that's hard to do when everything seems like a priority!
I find it really helpful to set goals, especially for any "extra" things I'm trying to achieve - going to work and getting food seem to take care of themselves 😍.
I use the SMART approach to setting goals and, to be honest, I don't ask too much of myself. I'm more of a "all you have to do is [this small thing, whatever it is] and you will see a big difference" kind of person. I'm not really for the grind, I have a Tidy Friday when I plan nothing except sorting out anything left over from the week, and I take a break at the weekend.
I found this book really helpful: Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman. I got it in the audio version so I could listen to it while I was driving or making food or gardening. It's one you can dip into and go back to when you need a refresh.
You might like to join us in the Saturday Savers Club if you want to set some goals for making/saving money. There's a post each Saturday, and everyone checks in with how they are doing.
Hope you get some peace soon.
Some great advice!
I do use the SMART goals but I think I need to do it better.
I have seen the Saturday Savings Club but haven't looked into it yet.
And I will take a look at the book you recommended.
Thanks for the great comment.
