Again, money is evil! There must be better ways to run society. Money, the store of value, leans itself towards a small portion of society hoarding it and then controlling that society. If we get another system, one in which hoarding vast amounts of money cannot happen on the scale it is happening today, we might live in better times. But alas that might be too utopian.

I share your view on the hoarding issue, but we are too far down the road to do anything about it. Except of course changing the taxation systems by taxing the super rich exorbitantly, to free up funds for services to the poor communities. Millions of kids go to bed hungry at night. So sad.
For sure. My aim in life is to have only what I really need, and what I really use. If you own things that you never use, those things will end up owning you.
And that is the sad part, right? Even if you only tax the rich a slight bit more than they are taxed now, you will end up helping the poor so much more. But our system is so corrupt.
It's normal to hang onto stuff that has special meaning to one, and it's very hard to let go. But then again, by letting the stuff go creates a sense of freedom.
The sad thing is that 160 000 NPOs are at the risk of de-registration due to non-compliance issues. We cannot afford one npo to be deregistered as the people that they helped will face regression. I am not saying this to brag, but we have received Papillon's clearance certificate last week. The money is there but wasted when there is no compliance. I don't want to even talk about corruption, as it makes me sick.
I am sure that there is too much corruption as well, as I have heard from others as well. It is such a shame that money that needs to get to those who really need it, ends up buying someone another fancy shirt or another fancy car. It is really sickening.
No problem at all, brag all you want! I know your heart is in the right place and the work you do really leaves an impact. In fact, I will not call it bragging at all!
Yep, so true and it is amazing to see how many fancy cars and homes are forfeited to the state when the law catches up to some of the corrupt ones. They live in sheer luxury without any thought about all of the little poor children going hungry to bed at night. Makes me angry.
We only do what we can my friend as we are servants of our big loving Father.
