That depends on what Province you live in as every Province will have different rules / whether you smoke it or dont smoke it / Or If like me you need it in other forms for medicinal purposes for pain and need oil that you dont get high on , and dont like buying on the street corner / If you want to grow it or not , there are still more rules getting worked out by October 17 and im sure will still need to worked on after that as this all new here in Canada. So like anything there is good and bad, I dont smoke myself anymore but know many that do . thanks for your reply, Have a good day I am off to sleep. Night shift worker...Zzzzzz!😴😴😴

I know I asked a pretty general, vague question. Maybe I should ask why is the government involved in the first place? And with this latest stunt they will be even more involved. The government has the midas touch in reverse: everything they touch turns to shit. And there in my view is the problem...government involvement. People should be allowed to use cannabis however they want...or not. So this whole thing will turn into a shitshow, eventually at least, just like the gun registry, the public school system, the Aboriginal reserve system, Kinder Morgan pipeline, etc. So all you people singing the praises of marijuana legalization, don't hold your breath. A more accurate term would be government management of marijuana until the "industry" is all screwed up and producing substandard weed. All at a loss, with the taxpayers left to pick up the bill. Good day!
