RE: Market Friday and The Cherry Blossom Parade

in #marketfriday6 years ago

Denise, you continue to surprise us with every new post. Wonderful. Many new graphic elements that embellish the blog. The same elaborate photos, perfect in supporting the theme. I have a question ... why didn't see Japanese at this festival?

Sort:

Oh, there were plenty of Japanese at the festival. I couldn't find all the pictures on the external hard drive, so I went with the ones I had access to. I have been transferring all my files over for the last month. I guess I didn't realize I didn't put the dancers in. I may look later today and insert a few.

Thank you for pointing that out for me, Dan. It was 4 am by the time I posted it and I was bleary-eyed and didn't even notice. There were pictures of Japanese at the Tidal Basin, but, they were just visitors.

I hope you have a very nice Easter, Dan! I wasn't sure if you celebrate the Orthodox, but, I am thinking you do, which isn't until the next week. If you do, forgiveness, please.

@bluemoon although you can't see up close, these were the tail end of some Japanese attaching the dragon the vehicle. This was pictured above but I know that is not what you were talking about. I also left a link with pictures above to the Japanese street festival on the article. It was at the first few paragraphs. It is all about the Japanese people in that link.

You know how it is said "this year the end of the world will come a week later for the Orthodox" ... it is not related to Easter but I'm sure you understand what I mean.

Happy Easter for you and your family! I will go next week to Bucharest, to be with my son and his girlfriend. They will have a baby this fall! We'll be grandparents ...

I know what it means to work on the blog very late in the night. You've managed a perfect blog, after my opinion.

Wait!!! Is this the same girl from last year? It matters not! Congratulations to you and your son!!! How amazing is life? It must be an honor to be a grandparent!

Oh, it wasn't how I planned to put the post out, but, you know, #MarketFriday must go on! And so it did. No matter how late. ;) Thank you for the Easter wishes and I will save yours for next weekend.

Is not. I have not met her yet. It's pretty weird, I know.
My son announced to me that he would have a baby at the funeral of my mother (his grandmother) ... so is life!

You know, sometimes it happens that way. They date someone for a long time, separate and then life hands them a partner almost immediately.

I wish them well and much luck! One life taken and one life given. It happens more often than not. Congratulations!

Thank you! It happened on time.
My son is already 37 years old.

Well, everything in its own time. Right?

Yeah, I saw the Japanese now. In fact, I hope you noticed there was not a criticism, I wanted to show that I looked closely at your blog.

I know you do. ;) The same as I look at yours. So as not to miss anything. I had lots of pictures of them sparring and dancing and singing.... and I put up none.

It happens. I sometimes forgot to put the most important photo.

I have them. I need to find them in the unorganized mess of my new external hard drive.

Sigh.
