Both are appealing, perhaps you need that good old list of pro's and cons....
Close to the sea, how high does humidity get during summer months, this creates residue on and in everything, appliances may rust a lot quicker shortening the life span. Window cleaners will be needed more regularly.
Steps, how many do you want to climb when you hit the next 10 years.
Personal comfort, finding the right place to suit the whole family, call for a vote, each family member comes along with their lists with why's and why not, say top 5 for and 5 against (enjoy the debate).
A forever home takes some thinking, if buying to sell later then whichever you prefer; beach or forested area, both are superb homes.
Oh, you have set me up with a great set of pros and cons. :)
I lived on the ocean most of my life, so yes, those are considerations and the stairs- I thought about the in 20-25 years, especially if I keep this house!
I have had over 20 homes due to being transferred all over the globe :) I call every single one of these my permanent home. :)
I want to thank you so much for weighing in and as always, your comments mean a lot! I wish you a most wonderful day!
