Wow awesome post, feels like I was there!! Thanks so much for sharing.
I see stuff for businesses and bits for home use as well.
Right now I use a Behmor. I was wondering if this brand was represented at the show? I may upgrade it one day to a Hottop...
I am wondering if freshly roasted (beans or ground) subscriptions are popular in UK? As in knowing that I go through say 1/2lbs of coffee in a week at home (or small office) I would subscribe so that is automatically taken care of.
At any rate, it is very cool to see so many British are so much into coffee.
I hope you did managed to sell some of these Topers. I have heard great things about them.

Thank you very much, I know of the Behmor but there were no domestic roasters at the festival this year that I saw. I deal a little with the Gene Cafe roaster, the Hottop I have seen working before - I thought the Behmor was a little more advanced? Coffee Subscriptions are big business in the UK, the biggest are hasbean.co.uk and squaremilecoffee.com
When I roast my tiny batches I put the Behmor on the stove top and start the stove vent to the max. So definitely the smoke suppressor technology is a plus in the Behmor. Even so I have to open windows and doors lol.
I was just mentioning another roaster as a way to move forward, but can`t ding the trusty Behmor. It is pretty accomplished and user friendly.
Thanks for the feedback and wishing you for a perfect cup every day;D
