Market Friday Interesting pub name
This is a post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I will share some shots of a Pub I passed recently, some of the pubs in NYC have such interesting names, including this one.
Let me start with one of the signs on the outside of this pub and restaurant.

Onthe web this place is described as

But you are probably wondering what it is called so here is shot of one of the other signs

I must admit it was the colors of the sign that caught my eye at fioirst and made me take a closer look at it and get this shot, I do love the bluesHere is another one of the signs outside this Bar/Restaurant, which also caught my eye

Humanizesteem
You may have noticed I am using the tag humanizesteem, I came across it in a post by @blueeyes8960, where she said Don't you love it when someone reads your content and makes a valuable comment, showing that they actually read it and enjoyed it? It makes me feel fantastic for someone to leave an honest heartfelt comment. Votes are great, don't get me wrong - I appreciate every one! - but I love to hear from you. And that's what #humanizesteem is out to promote. Human interaction. Please feel free to use the tag or explore posts under the tag.
Looking at poss with the tag it seems it is an initiative by @jeanlucsr to make Steem more human, and a great idea I think, so I will be using it often :)

I absolutely agree with you on the new tag! The votes are always extremely nice to have, but the whole point of social media is to be social, isn't it? So, if you are going to leave a comment oh, but not really read it, what is the point?

I really do love the colors and the brilliant way that they designed this Pub, especially in the middle of New York City. I have to agree with Mike in that it could very well be on the shores of Long Island. It has that relaxed feel, not at all common with New York City.
The playful name I'm sure has drawn more attention business-wise and I I just know that you're going to go inside and get something to eat and we are you of what it tasted like! Thank you so much for being a part of Market Friday and I wish you a most magical day!

I am going to try and remember to use it often, I think it is a great idea, one you and I are already onboard with,yes indeed the idea of social Media is to be Social and Steemit is a pretyt good in that regard but I hope it gets even more social :)
Yes I to so agree with Mikes comment it would fir well out in New England in some small Coastal city, but it was a cool find as soon as I saw it I had to get shots for a Market Friday Post :)
I may try it sometime for lunch its not to far from the office or my idea of not to far lOL
I am so torn about needing a tag oh, but I can see the use for it. I'm going to look at it and check it out. I realize that a lot of people are busy and that is why there is auto vote, and some of the people actually follow up on their voting but a lot of them don't. So, I can understand that it's to help people grow which it has for me, although I do not order boot because I want to make sure that I actually leave a comment. I'm not as good as you or is quick as you because you get everywhere so quickly, but that's a horse of a different color. I will never compete with you on commenting! And LOL
Thats some very good points, for us there should be no need for the tag, its what we do and hence feel people should do , but I won't say for you but i often say about me I am the exception and not the norm, in fact normal is not a thing I get called often LOL
I do use the auto vote for some, but am slowly cleaning that list down, as I do feel if I vote on a post it should be because I saw it and liked it, and if I liked it then I would comment also :)
Exactly my sentiments. Also if I was on auto vote oh, I might tend to skip if I was a little short on time. And you're right! If I like it I want to make sure I get over there and try to read it. Of course at this juncture in my life, this very second here oh, I am so busy that I am not getting to my comments on time but is it normal rule I pretty much tend to run pretty even on answering everything and doing my business. But yes you can include me because I am anything but normal. Trust me
One thing I say perhaps to often is Normality is so over rated
The cool thing with Steemit is everyone can choose to use it as they wish, I think in many ways you and I have a similar mindset, I am lucky with my commute I can keep up with comments and votes fairly easy,its on Weekends or telecommute days like today when I struggle to keep up, which reminds me I have edited the photos for tonights post but not prepared it so I better get busy LOL
You are lucky. I am only able to post once a day otherwise the comments get too much for me to do and I fall way behind. When you and I first took over steemusa, I was trying to post twice a day and I was so far behind on my comments I wasn't even commenting on anybody's posts Atlanta Journal of myself I put it back down to one and it seems to be helping a lot as far as keeping up but of course the challenges are the ones that really push behind and I'll tell you what you even on your Wednesday walk I mean I made the Hit Parade because of all the comments. Hello that's not my challenge LOL anyway I'm running to keep up with you but I'm in a better position now then I was a week ago so that's good. Yes being home or telecommuting is actual hell. LOL

Looks like a pub that would be down on a water front of a New England village. Very colorful.. :-)
Yes I do agree I think it would fit so well in any new England Small City more than in a busy NYC street

The colors on that place do look pretty cool. Definitely not something I would expect in the heart of the city. It looks more like something you would find on main street in a small town. Minus the name :)
Thats what I thought and it does seem to be a consensus it definitely has a small town feel more so than a big city and yes in a small town a different name would also be appropriate
I saw the word pub and I was hooked. You may know that I am a bit of a geek for good signage and the first one is right up there.
33 and a 3rd is a great adress for an old record album company.
As for the other sign? I wouldn't repeat it in polite company 😂

I do love a sign lol as far as visiting pubs go. I can't remember the last time I was in a pub but I do like their signs.
I agree about the tag too. Pretty sure many rattle through posts as they 'think' it's a race!? I don't get that?

Actually my last time in a pub, well a pub Restaurant was yesterday but just for lunch I had an exciting glass of water ;)
The murder mystery we attended last weekend at the manor house. Half the table including me were drinking water all evening. It was interesting to note. Not even a soft drink!
Thats interesting the crowd I used to hang with that would have been almost shocking LOL Maybe I need to find a new crowd if I ever get back into socializing and going out
