That’s a legitimate question. I do it sometimes, not saying that the rules here on Steemit need to change at all. I was rather saying that somebody who uses 100% of their daily voting power in just their self is not using Steemit how it was designed to be used, in my opinion.
Spreading the wealth and curating is a huge part of this whole thing.
But then again if somebody chooses to focus on just their self, I cannot say they are wrong for it. They are using Steemit without cheating, although morally it may not be totally correct.
I myseif think that while you are still very low down on the scale from Minnow to Dolphin to Whale, its fine to self vote, as the Dolphins and Whales do not know you exist. Where as once you have built up Steem, then its a different matter, then you begin to be noticed and can afford not to self vote.
