So This Morning Woke Up Logged Into Coinbase and Saw My Account Now had a Bunch of Free BCH In It.
So I decided to make the above meme just for kicks. Seems my whole life I have always been into hitting blocks for coins. I do mine crypto currency, normally XMR Monero, or BitCoin, and from the holdings I had from BTC mining and from Steemit posting that were in my Coinbase account on August 1st during the hard fork, I got a bunch of free BCH. I kinda feel like Super Mario lately just smashing blocks for coins left and right. Pretty awesome to be rewarded for merely holding BitCoin with free BCH and as I will continue to HODL on that I can watch and laugh as the price of both will go up over time.
I know Coinbase has had it's issues lately with a lot of new customers and now with the BCH addition that caused some issues. However I have been a happy user of Coinbase for a long time and they seem to be a legit exchange to me. I normally can get the money in my fiat bank account in less than a day when I sell coins. I'm not a fan of coinbase because of its terrible customer response. I can't verify my identity with them because of it.
I use kracken, they have an amazing customer service. I have had several issues that they resolved for me super quick.
I recently signed up to an exchange called "Cobinhood" apparently they have zero trading fees. But I haven't started using it yet.
I like bitshares a lot too. @titusfrost I recommend you start buying up some BTS. That shit is about to blow up.
Yeah for sure. I think BTS is about to blow up. I also use Gemini, however I do agree the identity verification thing with coinbase has been a pain in the ass lately due to the high volume of new users.
Hey, I am just getting into cryptocurrency. I'm slowly understanding the idea, and I have joined coinbase due to lots of recommendations. Coinbase only has a few cryptos though, and not a lot of litecoins.
You are very knowledgeable on this subject so I am curious do you have any recommendations for any other cryptocurrency exchanges that might deal with more altcoins? Dogecoin, Dash, Ripple, coins like these?
Yeah to buy the other currencies I use Bittrex, which is the best multi currency exchange. I use Coinbase to start my crypto and to cash it out for USD. I do all my trading on Bittrex.

I got a notification about BCH added to Coinbase.. but it said something about you had to have been on their prior to august 2017? So I guess anyone after that (like myself) won't get that benefit and it's not letting me even purchase some. why??
IDK, I was on there before so. Must be a short term issue. I bet they add BCH for you soon.
Yeah.. it now says "soon". Of course, BCH is climbing fast so now would be ideal to do so! It seems like the BC, ETH, and LC are all in a decline. I'm trying not to worry!
